Ya know how the finale didn’t set right with Jensen and he reached out to Kripke for some reassurance? And all he said to Jensen was that he was too close to the character?

Ya that is all a bunch of bullshit. If an actor plays the same character for 15 years and doesn’t like how his end was written, he has every right to protest it and speak out. And ya, maybe he was too close to Dean. But Dean was and still is a part of him.

The writers did such an injustice to Dean and Sam.

Last night, I decided to tune into the last thirty minutes of the series finale. I have not kept up with the show for two years but felt I owed it to my younger self, Jared and Jensen, and of course the Winchesters. I did not need storyline background as I figured I knew how it would end. And I was correct. Though, I do not feel as if any of the boys needed to die to make it an end. They could have lived their “apple pie” lives that they deserved on earth. But, alas, it happened. I just wish they would have left Sam alive and Dean riding Baby up in heaven until Sam came along. This would have left viewers and fans to finish the story the way they wanted to, much like good novels leave it open.

But the boys needed to be reunited again.

Finally find “peace when they [were] done.”

Here’s the deal,

It always should have ended this way. Dean dying from a routine hunt, and Sam going on to live his life. It is, essentially, how it would have happened if Dean and Sams story ended in season 1. But with that being said, it could have been done better. We deserved to see more of the life Sam himself deserved. The series finale was almost what the fan base needed to finally be satisfied and to say one last final goodbye. But just almost.
