Too many plain black shirts, a cricut, too much time and a reread of Dear your Holiness later.
I ... Have been reading dear your holiness again. And I'm crying.
And as a christian, I feel more validated by some of the things I read in here than prb 98% of christians' actions. Or a good majority of the things that they try to teach is most important.
I don't know what that says about me.
But this part about grief? That maybe God was there. Stopped everything to hold their hand so not alone when they died?
I like to believe my dad and mom had that comfort.
But the part about suicide? It makes me cry every time.
Bc the times I heard that about my dad??? It's like, do y'all really think that should come out of your mouth? Do you really think that jesus would do that? With how he loved?
And just being open about doubt. Not accepting what old tradition decided something means?
And this??? So good.
So @mollymarymarie I don't know how much might be from your own experiences, but know that this remus and his love and the things he taken from faith mean a lot. Showing ones that do care. That do put needs of marginalized community as priority. That doesn't shy away from it even though so much speaks against it.
Here’s my take on Dear Your Holiness by the ever talented @mollymarymarie
This might be my fav wolfstar fic ever and I wanted to pay homage to my catholic raised self with a sacrilegious bind 😂✝️
Bible theme inspo from my dear friend Amanda.
Typeset created by yours trulyyyy.
Cross cutout was a bitch but so worth it for that gaudy look, yea?

I'm never getting over this
@mollymarymarie

Regulus “you know being caught with me is, like, social suicide?” Black and James “shoot me in the face then” Potter
Four things that are 100% true and you should think about if you haven't already:
You don't have to be a boy if you don't want to
You don't have to be a girl if you don't want to
You can be a boy if you want to
You can be a girl if you want to
This isn't a joke. This is reality. Have you considered these facts? If not, maybe take a moment to think about it. How's your gender doing? If you don't like it, it can be changed. Hell, even if you do like it, maybe you'd like something else more?
"Get my car door, isn't that sweet? Then pull me to the backseat."

Regulus stared, a blush forming on his face.
"What?" James asked a bit stupidly, narrowing his eyes. His hand rested on the door handle and he stood helplessly as Regulus gaped at him.
"Did you...get the door for me?" Regulus asked, wondering if he should chastise the other man or melt into a puddle.
"Erm..yes?" James answered, looking completely unsure of himself.
And Regulus could only step into the car, smiling to himself, resisting the urge to mutter about how bloody perfect James Potter way.
-
"Your brother is at home, and I know you have roommates," James said as they walked back to the car four hours later, after a rather successful dinner consisting of some small talk and mostly shameless flirting, "but I have a perfectly good car."
"Did you just...suggest we snog in your backseat?" Regulus asked James incredulously, trying to decide if the other man was kidding or not.
"Erm...yes?" James responded, a cheeky grin on his face. "But only if you want to. If you don't, then I was joking." There was only a few inches between himself and Regulus, who was leaning back against James's car. It was like they were on the precipice of something.
"Well," Regulus responded after a moment's thought, placing a hand on the other man's chest. "Get to it then, Potter," Regulus murmured, smirking at James, who immediately reached to again pull open the door by Regulus, this time nearly-tackling him to pull him into the backseat, their lips and bodies connecting.
Goodbye, Lynn. Thank you for your constant support and encouragement since the day I started these comics. It has meant the world to me, and I wish I could have told you. We will remember you forever.
Regulus in Best Friend's Brother just casually pretending to poison Remus because he screwed his disgraceful older brother is just so funny to me. Like he's so cutie patootie for that.
Not now kitten daddy has to listen to one song on repeat until the mere mention of it makes him sick
'you never read anymore, you used to love reading' and i have 200 safari tabs open. it never stopped it just got weird
this year while we all celebrate pride month and celebrate ourselves as well as those who came before us and paved the way for us to do so, we must also think of those in gaza, queer or not, who live every day under a brutal occupation and don’t have that same privilege. happy pride, and may we see a free palestine in this lifetime.
do not forget the patron saint of these weeks that we celebrate ourselves proudly and openly in the streets
her name was Marsha P Johnson, and we have her to thank for so much.
remember, the first Pride was a riot, and she was one of the brave souls who endured it to help carve the path which so many of us walk today. she helped found several activist groups regarding LGBT safety and wellbeing. and she was absolutely radiant, too.
thank you, Marsha. we remember you.
