cute pattern! i think the a158/168 designs are nice, although the silver wouldnt be my choice. i like it with the flower background. always a little confused when i see people wearing their watches below the wrist rather than on the forearm, but to each their own. good looks :)

YES! i swim constantly in my f91wb-1a and i tell everyone i give a casio to that they can swim with them because i firmly believe that the only difference between the 5m "splash only" and 10m immersion water resistance is the testing standard, not the design. they have the same gasket!

the GWM5610-1! the classic gshock dw5600, updated with new hot tech (multi band 6 time correction, solar charging). The octagon form factor holds up incredibly well, although the side bevels that protect the studs from accidental presses give it a stopsign sort of look from some angles. my only gshock is a white 5600 with pink and blue accent text, but i have considered going for a solar model... i dont think i wear the chunkier watches in my collection enough to keep it reliably charged though. I wonder if the multiband stations adjust for daylight savings in the US? and when travelling outside of the US would any of the other 5 correct it back? definitely a great usecase for the radio correction tech. love it. i will say the classic gshock red-on-black accent and detailing is timeless, theres no better default colorway, i prefer it even over the blue of modern f91w design. it always reminds me of the vintage f87w and other true vintage casio designs, that gorgeous spedometer red. thanks for submitting!

in response to ur most recent post :) i've had it for 5 years or so and wear it all the time! the band actually had to be replaced with a generic elastic one. love the silver-y finish on it and the hue of orange it has when illuminated. hope you think it's as cool as i do!

AE1200!! the "casio royale". cuz daniel craig wore it in the casino royale remake, or something. I love the timezone map even tho i only use it to check the time in south africa where my friend is doing a masters. This is a classic and beautiful! I love the silver tone just as much as you do. Shame about the band but good on you for replacing it. Mine was given to me by a random customer at my old job, longer story about it but i basically chatted him up about his watches and the next time i saw him, two months later, he walked in and handed me a watch. Casio sport/tech watches get a lot of use out of the faux-analog digital dials but i think the AE1200 has a little restraint (only one dial, lmao). This is the best of the best in terms of classic casio clutter. Nice watch!!!

nice. classic a158 is something you cant go wrong with. i think it beats the a168 on dimensionality, but as always I wish they'd make a slimmer EL backlight model.

a customer gave me this "casio royale" when i worked at a hardware store. its custom with gold paint in the dial, apparently. looks great, but i wish the studs were gold-painted too. I don't wear much silver.
