Had the pleasure of tasting @libertinewines today and I am excited to add his wines to our list! All balanced and inventive. AND exceeds biodynamic standards (which y’all know I totally love). His Dolcetto Rosé (from Willamette Valley Grapes! 😱🤗) was beautiful and full bodied. His “Acid Freak” Dolcetto/Riesling Rosé was pretty, fun and light. (Also, how freaking awesome is that label??!) The Rieslings were both dry, flavorful and out of the ordinary. The way he makes his wines is spectacularly interesting. Sign me up! When was the last time you had a completely surprising Rosé? Keeping warm while snowshoeing through Trillium Lake with this beautiful smoky Syrah from @johanvineyards.. one of my absolute favorites. Partially because of how unique it is due to the grapes being smoke damaged, but also how delicious that uniqueness is.
