AU: Years After Dean and Sam have passed away. Castiel is sitting in the impala which has become rusty and parts have begun to fall off. The seat interior peeling, the color fading. Cas sits there in the backseat, memories swirling in his head of all the good and bad times he's had with the boys. His boys. All the laughs they shared, all the fights they had, all the times they had almost killed each other. Tears threatened to fall onto his cheeks. He was often lonely. Lately all he did was continue to watch over humanity, every once in awhile he would answer peoples prayers to him. Sometimes he would even go to Sam and Deans heavens but never let them see him. Always invisible to them. He couldn't bring himself to interfere with them. They both finally seemed happy. Both had forgotten the past and taken to this beautiful new future. Both had even forgotten about Castiel, not completely part of Cas lingered in the back of their minds. As for Castiel himself, well he would never forget them as long as he lived, they were burned into his memory and he was thankful for that.
