- they arent physically able to make or wear one for whatever reason
- they cant make one and cant afford to buy one
- it doesnt provide them with any benefits (euphoria, anonymity, community, ect)

please stop blaming the people who DO enjoy masks or quads for "ruining the reputation of therians" or whatever. its not their fault internet algorithms prioritize things that are flashy and recognizable over things that are educational or informative. this isnt a "real therians v.s. icky tiktok therians" argument. youre allowed to be upset about misinformation being spread and educational content being suppressed. i know i am lmao. but please stop talking down to therians who express their identities differently than you.
