Y'all this woman-made manga is still ongoing and is one of the most interesting and complex storylines I've ever experienced. I'm really hoping for a continuation of the anime!! Holy war religious corruption fiction meets sci-fi meets comedy meets fantasy meets body horror in a way that is truly in a group of its own.

Honestly the gifs I'm sharing don't do justice. If you're looking for something to watch and/or read that is psychologically dense, complex in lore, and unsettling in the best ways, consider giving it a read/watch.
