This show has amazing visuals specially when there’s a choreography going on but there are moments that are intimate and the expressions of the characters are everything. One of the moments I was looking forward to see some closeups of, is at the end of Cabinet Battle #2 when this conversation takes place.

I was mostly looking to see some closeups for Alex’s reaction to Jefferson saying that, and of course I’ve always wondered whether Washington heard that. I didn’t get the closeups I was looking for unfortunately. But we have something.

Alex has heard GW calling him and TJ calling GW ‘daddy’ with all the implications that has. Alex is not pleased (this was obvious). His expression changes, you can see the smug smile, almost ready to snap back GONE in an instant and he shuts his mouth. As for George W. I’ve wondered when I watched it, if he’s heard. And I now know he must have. Look at the way he was fidgeting with those glasses. When Alex’s stops smiling (the second TJ says “daddy’s calling”), GW: - stops fidgeting - body remains STILL - he blinks - straightens his neck/head - his mouth does a thing The man is NOT happy about what he’s just heard, he’s pissed off in fact (and that pleases me). The way that I’ve always imagined he would be if he’s heard Alexander being attacked and even when he’s got into heated arguments with AH. That very calm kind of anger? The storm going on inside.

The camera remains on T.J. in the Hamilfilm, but we know what happens when Alex leaves the stage. GW stays and keeps staring at T.J. who looks back, almost fidgeting in place. That stare goes on for way longer than I could have endured. GW is NOT HAPPY. And slowly, he turns around. Found footage.

No, it’s not. Asexuals don’t usually want sex, but they can still have it. Asexuals might want to have sex with their parents because they feel it’s something that might bring them closer, a different kind of intimacy. Asexuals might be able to want and enjoy sex, just not as often as other people do and not with the same intensity, also not with the same intent and without feeling the same kind of pleasure.

I like sex so I have sex, an asexual might not like sex as in they don’t have orgasms but they feel pleasure anyway because their pleasure derives from having a moment of intimacy with their partner.
