Anyway I think more video game quests should make you uncomfortable and guilty and mislead you and corner you between a rock and a hard place and offer hollow victories. There's nothing more annoying than quest writing that scrambles to assure you that you're niceys and good and nothing you put your hand on can ever have negative consequences. "You cannot save everyone" and I cheer and whoop etc.

im excited cause despite Brysko saying "better that way" about his lack of voice, the first thing he does when Albrecht puts him back together is make a frustrated gesture to his throat, and Albrecht's like "i know you want a voice of your own, have patience" and we know Albrecht well enough to know that this sneaky bitch has been waiting for the operator/drifter to get to Tau for some "first person to ever hear Brysko's voice through transference" bonding time
