omg i missed this lol i’m so sorry but it’s been a really really terrible past two months for me OTL

anyways yes i originally had planned to make a meta for jaej and then yunho and then follow that with yunjae but i kind of got pushed to do the yunjae one first and i’ve been stuck on that for like 4 years??? and it’s kind of killed my drive to do anything else :/ but yes i’m still planning on doing it and hopefully????? i’ll have time to do it now???? once i get back on top of the rest of the mess that is my life .-.

im sorry lightlee’s comeback is still coming One Day i promise it’s just taking 10 years longer than i ever thought it would :(

is it true that jaejoong hates yunjae fans :/

i’ve literally never seen/read anything that would say he does.

like....i’m sure he hates them sometimes?? just like actual yunjae fans do lmao because we all know how laser focused they can be on their otp and it has been 5 years since the split so at some level it’s like ok...move on........

but no, as far as what i think jaejoong feels, yunjae fans are still fans in general so he loves them unconditionally.

Who do you think are the better singers now ? JYJ or TV2XQ ?

In terms of growth (pre-lawsuit vs post): HoMin

In terms of overall talent: JYJ, if only because JYJ has demonstrated the ability to perform a wider range of musical genres successfully (with Jaejoong’s and Junsu’s solo activities) while HoMin has, for the most part, stuck with a general pop sound.

What's your take on 2VXQ fans saying ot5/jyj fans shouldn't be allowed to include jaechunsu in stuff celebrating dbsk's past 11th anniversary? Someone compared it to five people founding a business and how if three people leave they are separate from the company forever, they have no right to be happy about it surviving without them, and how because jyj made the decision to leave they don't deserve to celebrate the 11th anni or whatever and it just made me sad.

I understand the analogy and why fans of the duo would be upset but I think they have to remember that TVXQ’s anniversary is also the anniversary of the members of JYJ, so they have every right to celebrate it as such. 

If JYJ ever celebrated the day that they formed their trio as their anniversary, I think I would probably agree and think that fans should stop including them on TVXQ’s.....but they don’t. They never have. They’ve always treated December 26 as the day they debuted, and just because they’re no longer with the group they began their career with doesn’t mean that fact changes. 

I understand the analogy, but it doesn’t make sense for this situation because TVXQ is not a business and JYJ didn’t just arbitrarily choose to leave one day. TVXQ is a group of people, and JYJ made the best decision they could at the time in the interest of their health and creative output. JYJ are allowed to be happy that TVXQ is succeeding without them because

JYJ are human beings who are allowed to feel joy at the good fortune of others despite their past history, and

JYJ is a major part of the first 6 years of TVXQ’s history and is just as responsible for their current success as Yunho and Changmin as a duo are. 

The original analogy doesn’t work at all for this situation. A better one would go along the lines of a couple getting married at a young age and trying their hardest to make the relationship work despite them growing into different people as they matured. Ultimately Person A makes the decision to stop forcing themselves to live a life they no longer want and files for divorce, despite still loving B on some level. In this case, A is allowed to move on from their past relationship while still wishing for B to be happy and find love/success in the future. A is also allowed to continue celebrating their anniversary of their original marriage if they so choose to whether A remarries or not. 

At the end of the day, it’s the people who are involved who make the real decisions. Fans are allowed to celebrate JYJ’s anniversary with TVXQ’s because JYJ as a group do and have shown that that is what they prefer. The fans who have a problem with it will just have to deal with it.

I do still stand by it! I completely believe that the lawsuit and how SM handled it played a big part in disillusioning Yunho and putting cracks in his loyalty to the company; how the company treated him in the years after only did more damage. 

As for new hints, I can’t really say because, tbqh, I haven’t been paying as much attention to TVXQ as I used to so I’ve missed basically everything for the past 2 years. The only thing that really comes to mind is Changmin recently at their last concert in Japan--he thanked AVEX, Bigeast, Cassiopeia, and Lee Soo Man.....but didn’t even mention SM Entertainment or anyone else from the company. Normally I would brush this off as simply because they were in Japan at a Japanese concert, but if that were the case why mention Cassiopeia or Lee Soo Man at all?

Hi~ I've recently stumbled upon your blog and I see you using their western zodiac signs quite a whole lot. Do you think yunjaemin being aquarians contribute to their relationship and interaction as well? Not discounting chun and junsu but those 3 are/were/whichever literally aquarians in one group & i find it very much fascinating. thank you ^^

I do! Aquarius generally bond with other Aquarius more than any other sign because of their characteristics, so the three of them together, despite their overall differences in personality, would have a friendship incomparable to any other in the group.

I also believe that TVXQ being a majority Aquarius played a rather large role in the group’s success overall, especially with two of them being the eldest/leaders. Zodiac-wise, TVXQ is a very compatible group in general (Aquarius/Aquarius = good, Aquarius/Gemini = good, Aquarius/Sagittarius = good) so the fact that they worked so well together should come as no surprise.

hi! sorry for the late response but im on mobile and i didnt realize you'd sent this :(back when that thanks to was released, there was a huge uproar in fandom about whether he could have meant jaejoong, actually. on the one hand its possible because jaejoong and yunho used to refer to each other as their other half but on the other, we don't know everything about yunho's personal life and if he has anyone else he calls that.at the end of the day, its up to your own beliefs but there are lots of people who agree that he was talking about jaejoong ;)

Everyone is entitled to their own delusional opinion but TVXQ are Yunho n Changmin. It seemed they r alot happier. Plz respect that.

Don't know if you're still active around these parts but I'm a relatively new fan and got referred to the truetvxq@blogspot blog to learn more about the lawsuit. I've seen a couple people say the blog isn't trustworthy though so I wanted to know your opinion/if there's a better place to learn more in-depth about the lawsuit (before, during, after)? Thanks!

hi!! i'm definitely still active overall but i've been forced into a hiatus for the psat year and a half or so because of real-life obligations :( 

as far as truetvxq is concerned, it really is a terrible blog :/ unfortunately, there's not really one specific place you can go to to get a really unbiased and clearcut overview of everything that led up to/may have caused the lawsuit to happen. if youre interested, my old blog has a truetvxq tag that i used to keep track of posts i made about it.

as always, i definitely recommend reading through truetvxq in it's entirety, because there's a lot of information there that you simply can't find anywhere else in english. just keep in mind that it's incredibly biased and translated in a pro-homin/anti-jyj slant.

if you really want to learn more about the whole lawsuit period, your best bet is to ask as many people as you can (from all sides) and form your opinions from that. obviously, i'm going to recommend my own blog for the most part but i definitely encourage you to explore other parts of the fandom and talk to people who you feel have a good grasp on the whole thing.

tbqh, it's not easy and definitely isn't quick/to the point, and there's still a lot of unanswered questions to this day, so don't be surprised/frustrated if you end up coming out of it with more questions and confusion than when you went  :/

the only thing i can remember off the top of my head is that yunho goes to jaejoong's apartment on a regular basis (i think it was after the first day of catch me con? but yunho went straight from the after party or w/e to jaejoong's place lmao and was there for a few hours or smthng) and that yunho meets up with the other two on regular occasions and just does stuff/runs errands

i'm sure there's more/other but it's been a while and i really can't remember :(

i didnt say changmin but sasaeng info, blind faith, logic, this instagram video. 

i have more reasons to believe that they do still hang out than i do to believe that they don't.
