You stand in front of the lively house, your phone in hand. You glance down at your phone and then back up at the house. This was the address Rindou had sent to meet at. You glance back at your phone looking over the messages you two had shared in the last hour.

You sigh and glance back at the building sending him a quick text, before you walk towards the front door.
When you reach the front door, it’s cracked open. You push it open and step into the overly crowded two story house. You glance around scanning the crowd looking for either Rindou or his older brother. Your eyes flick from person to person, group to group. You bite onto your lip and glance back at your phone.

You stand by the door, awkward and out of place, nervously twisting your fingers and tapping your foot in waiting.
Your head turns when you hear a voice call out to you. “Hey there, you look lost. You looking for someone?”
You nod your head, “Yeah actually, well kind of.”
“I know almost everyone here, shoot, I can probably point you in the right direction.” He gives you a charming smile, stepping right next to you, your shoulders almost touching.
“Well, my boyfriend said he’d meet me here,” You stated, unsure of whether or not you should tell him or just wait.
“C’mon, shoot!” He challenged rather confidently.
“Okay… I’m looking for Haitani Rindou and Ran, do you know where they might be?”
“Hmm,” He places a finger on his chin, “I think they might be in the kitchen, that's where I saw them last… Let me take you?”
You glance at your phone then back at him, “Yeah, alright.”
He guides you through the mass of people around the house, you stick close to him as he leads you towards the kitchen.
You pass through the archway that leads into the kitchen, you glance around and see no sign of your boyfriend.
“I don’t see him.” You voiced looking towards the guy.
“He was just here, I swear I saw him.” He places his hands on his hips, “Here, I’ll help you look.”
“Ah- I should just go back to my waiting spot.” You point your thumb over your shoulder.
“I insist!” He remarks, reaching a hand out to which I just glance at. He retracts it and scratches the back of his neck. “Let me introduce myself, I’m Kenji. Would you like to get a drink and look for your boyfriend and his brother?”
You hesitate for a moment, “Yeah, alright.”
“Cool, what can I get ya?” He turns towards the liquor.
“Oh- I don’t really drink.” You clarify, “Is there water or soda?”
“Oh, yeah that's cool, there's some coke over here,” He grabs a bottle of coca cola. “Ice, no ice?”
“Ice, please.” You tell with a smile.
“Gotcha.” He turns his back to you as he grabs the ice and puts it in the cup, then he turns and pours the soda. “Here you are.”
“Thanks.” You take the glass from him with a small smile.
“No problem, let's go find this missing man, yeah?”
“Yeah.” You nod, following him out of the kitchen and bringing the glass to your lips taking a small sip.

After a while of looking Kenji walks ahead of you with his hands stuffed into his jacket pockets, and stagger behind. Trying to keep up but your vision was starting to get blurry and your footing was beginning to turn wonky.
“Ken-Kenji.” You call in a slur, trying to get him to slow down.
“Hm?”
“You’re going so fast- I’m not- I’m not feeling well. Can we take a seat somewhere so I can text Rindou?” You slur, grasping onto the wall as you blink slowly, reaching behind you to grab your phone.
“Kenji?” You call.
No response.
“Ken-”
“Hey,” A gentle hand places on your shoulder turning you around, “Who’s Kenj- Whoa are you okay?”
Your eyes focus in on the figure in front of you spotting the glasses, the multi-colored hair, “R-Rinnie?”
“What happened? I was looking for you.” He places his free hand on your other shoulder for stability, leaning you against the wall.
“I don’t feel so good, Rin-” You breathe in a slur, your hand clumsily coming to grasp one of his.
“I can see that, what happened?”
“I was looking for you, Kenji was helping,” You glanced at where Kenji was last. “Woah, Kenji is gone.”
“Kenji?”
“Some guy I met, he told me he knew where you were, and fixed me a drink and we were going to find you, and look I found you.” You smile up at him.
Rindou’s eyebrows furrow, “Fucking dead man, he must have spiked your drink, did he touch you? Are you okay?”
You shake your head, “Mm-mm.”
“He didn’t touch you or you’re not okay? Use your words, pretty.”
“Didn’t touch me. ‘M really really sorry.” You lean against him, “I was trying to be nice.”
“Well don't.” He speaks bluntly, “I don’t give a shit who it is if you don’t know them, don't go with them, don’t take drinks from them, and sure as hell don’t leave our meeting spot.”
You lean down the wall, and Rindou crouches in front of you, “Didn’t mean to.”
“I know, pretty. But why didn’t you wait for me? I was almost done, almost there.” He sighs out, tucking loose hair behind your ear.
“Didn’t want to rely on you. Or bother you, was gonna find you.”
“(Y/N).” He speaks, tucking his index and middle fingers under your chin, lifting your head to look at him. “You could never be a bother, you know that?”
You nod, “‘m really, really sorry, Rinnie.”
“You don’t need to apologize to me, pretty.”
He gently guides you to your feet, “Now, come on, we’re going to go find Ran and the others.”
You shake your head, “No… Can’t let them meet me like this.”
“It’s okay pretty, we’re only going to want a few answers.”
“Of what.”
“Kenji.”

Rindou leads you to a couch in the middle of a room with a group of people sitting at it. Ran notices you two first and stands to his feet walking up and wrapping an arm around you.
“What happened to you, princess?” Ran asked with a look of concern on his face.
“Some idiot spiked a drink and gave it to her.” Rindou answers for you.
“He seemed nice.” You slur.
“They all do.” Ran shook his head and they sat you on the couch.
“What was his name?” An unfamiliar voice calls.
“Kenji.” Rindou answered.
“What was he wearing? I’ll beat his ass. No one messes with my baby brother's future wife.”
“Huh?”
“Stay focused.”
“Sorry. He was- He was in a red jacket, it was poofy like this.” You gesture with your hands.
“That’s great, (Y/N). What else was he wearing?” Rindou asks.
“... Black pants, they were also poofy.”
“I know who that is.” Another unknown voice, you turn your head to see a guy with a tattoo on the side of his head, blonde.
“He had an ugly nose.”
The guy snorts, glancing at you, “Did he?”
“Mhm.”
“Take us to him, Shion.”
“Okay.”
“Okay, pretty. You sit here with my friend Kakucho, okay?”
You nod, “Where are you going?”
“To go kick someone's ass.”
“Rindou-”
“Don’t worry about that pretty head of yours. We’ll be alright after all there's five of us and one of him.”

“Awh, Nahoya look, it's a puppy.” You tug at his jacket sleeve, glance over to where the dog was approaching the two of you with a point of your finger.
Beside you Nahoya tensed, “What..?”
“A puppy.” You point to the full sized dog, it most definitely wasn’t a puppy.
“That ain’t no damn puppy.” He grumbles where he stands behind you, his shoulders visibly tense.
“Well no,” You roll your eyes at him as the dog finally approaches and you reach a hand out, “But look at it.”
He grips your hand and pulls it away from the dog, “I am looking at it.” He rolls his eyes pulling you towards him, “Don’t touch it.”
“Nahoya.” You tug your wrist that lays firmly in his hand.
“No. Don't touch the damn thing.”
“It wont bite.”
“It damn well might.”

“Are you scared of dogs, Nahoya?” You raise an eyebrow, turning your body to look at him fully.
“What? No!” He lets go of your wrist and crosses his arms over his chest with a huff.
You snort and throw your hand over your mouth.
“I said I’m not!” He growls.
You look over at the dog who now sits on the ground, its tail wagging and tongue out as it waits for you to pet it. You reach out again and he pulls you back.
“I said not to.”
“You’re just afraid it’s going to bite.”
His smile falters before he lets go of your wrist once again, “Fine let the damn thing bite you.”
You reach out, finally petting it, it nudges its head into your hand, and you coo at it. Smiley who was hiding behind you crosses his arms over his chest, his eyes trained on the dog.
“I wonder if it’s lost..” You reach around and grab its collar, twisting it to see if there were any tags, any indented credentials.
“Let it stay lost.” He grumbles from behind.
“Nahoya.” You scold, “That’s mean.”
He doesn’t reply simply sulking behind you ready to use you as a shield against the thing.
“Let’s see here,” You trail, “Oh, you are lost, oh and your names Cupcake, awh..”
“Awh,” He mocks.
“Nahoya.”
He raises his hands, his eyes closed, his smile still present.
“Let’s get you home, yeah?” You pull out your phone, “Their number is on the tag, would you help me?”
“No.”
“Oh okay..”
“Fuck, fine.” He walks closer hesitantly grasping the dog's collar and reading the numbers out to you.
The dog nudges his hand and he quickly retracts it, “What’s it doing? (Y/N)!”
You glance over your shoulder, the phone to your ear, the phone ringing as you wait for an answer.
“She wants you to pet her.” You speak just as the owner answers, “Hi, hi have your dog…” You trail.
Nahoya on the other hand stands there awkwardly, his shoulders tense, his back straight, “I don’t want to pet it.”
He glances over seeing you on the phone, “(Y/N).”
You glance over again holding up a finger, and he grumbles and looks back towards the dog whose tongue was out and its tail wagging, she lets out a quiet whine as she stands up and walks towards him.
“No.” He holds a hand out to cupcake, but she doesn’t listen, “No. Bad dog. (Y/N)!” He hisses.
“Just one second, sorry.”
“It’s coming at me!”
“Pet her!”
“No!”
You roll your eyes and tell the person where you were, before sliding your phone in your back pocket, the same moment Nahoya grabs you and pushes you towards the dog.
“Nahoya!” You yelp.
“It was coming for me!”
“For pets!”
“…”
“…”
“Never thought I’d see the day where you shrink up because of a dog.”
“I am not.”
“Are too.”
“Am not.”
You reach out and pet cupcake, cooing at her and telling her, her owner would be here soon, Nahoya stands behind you, sulking like a damn kid who got told no.
“Nahoya she won't bite.”
“She might.”

I didn't know how to end this and I wanted to start another writing but I cant do that if I already have one ongoing lol
“Pay attention to me.” Mikey whines and throws his body onto the bed, his bottom lip jutted out.
Your boyfriend was impatient. You knew this. Why had you even tried to scroll through Instagram while he was in your presence? Simply because he was on his phone, his nose so deep in the thing you didn’t want to bother him.
“I thought you were on your phone.” You state and your eyes flick from his black ones to the device that sat in your hand, which obviously annoyed him.
He lets out a whine, his body scooting closer to yours. He throws his head into your lap, his arms wrapping around your waist. He glances up at you, his bottom lip still jutted out, his dark eyes are on your face, and when you finally look at him he catches your gaze. “I was, but now I want you to pay attention to me.”
You click off your phone and set it off to the side, raising an eyebrow as you reach one of your hands out and push his blonde hair out of his face. He lets out a hum and throws his legs out his arms tightening on your waist, one of his hands reaching down to slide into your shirt— his shirt, his nimble fingers running along your side.
“Play with it more.” He demands quietly, his head turning to lay on your thigh. So you do, running your fingers into the mess it had become through the day. Your fingers work through his hair, twirling the strands before your fingers crawl their way up to his scalp and start to massage it. He lets out a satisfied soft sigh and closes his eyes.
“Good?” You question, not once pausing your movements.
“Yeah.”
“...”
“...”
It’s quiet for a while. The only sounds are his and your breathing, his had become shallow and you figured he had started to fall asleep where he lay. His eyes were closed and his movement on your side had also stopped. Still your fingers continued to lightly massage his scalp.
Not too long later your fingers crawl to his cheek, your other stopping its movement as you glance down at him.
His eyes flick open and his eyes find yours quickly, his pout returns and he whines, “Why’d you stop?”
“Thought you fell asleep.” You whisper leaning down to place a kiss on his nose before you pull back.
He tilts his head to the side, “Don’t stop.”
Your fingers return to his scalp and you start your actions again. You sigh lightly and he closes his eyes again, his pout disappearing.
It’s silent for a while again, but he breaks it, speaking up as his eyes open again looking at you. “When we’re older…” He pauses and his eyes search yours before he continues, “Do you think we’ll get married?”
You tilt your head. “Probably.”
He smiles, “Good, I want to marry you.”
You smile back at him leaning down to place a kiss on his forehead.
“I'll ask you.” He admits, “When we’re older, I’ll ask you to marry me.”
You lean back and stare into his dark eyes, “I’ll be waiting.”
He hums out and closes his eyes again. “You’ll never get rid of me..”
A pattern tap, tap, tap, is thrummed against your bedroom window, your eyes flick up to it and there stands your best friend, his face bruised, a hood over his blue-yellow hair, his violet eyes watching.
“Rinnie?” You breathe out as you push your textbook and notebooks away from yourself and slip off the bed heading towards the window. You open the glass frame and breathe his name again quietly, grabbing his sleeve and pulling him towards the now open frame.
“Hey.” He speaks simply, as though his face wasn’t all banged up. He quietly slips through the window, not making a single sound as his feet touch the ground of the bedroom floor, his shoes hitting the carpet soundlessly. You stare at him, dumbfounded. He rubs the back of his head and opens his mouth to speak but closes it after seeing the look on your face. Clicking your tongue and turning on your heels, you march towards the door that leads to the bathroom, stomping through the door, and he’s hot on your heels.
“Listen, it’s not that bad…” He trails, gently grasping your wrist in the fingers that connect to his palm.
“Haitani.” You hissed, turning to face him, “What have I told you about showing up like this?”
He grins, “You should see the other guys.”
“I don’t want to see the other guys.” You scoff, ripping your wrist from his grasp and bend down, crouching as you look through the cabinet below the sink.
He watches you from above, his eyebrows raised, “You’re cute when you’re mad.”
You turn to glare at him, “Haitani Rindou.”
He raises his hands in the air in mock surrender, “C’mon (Y/N), live a little, get away from those textbooks, come with me on a ride sometime.”
Your nose scrunches up as you rise to your feet, “I’m not getting on that,” you pause glancing at him, gesturing him over with a sigh, “Death machine.”
He lets out a snort as he walks past sitting down on the closed toilet that sits behind you. You roll my eyes and turn to face him, a rag in one hand, alcohol in the other. Patting his knee, he spreads his legs further and you shimmy your way between them, sighing, “What happened?”
“Few guys jumped me, got a few good hits,” He pointed a finger to his face with a hum, “Showed them that I’m the Haitani Rindou for a reason.”
“Idiot.” You mutter with an annoyed eye roll as you dab alcohol onto the rag in your right hand. “Damn idiot.”
He just takes it, watching you with those eyes, “You're going to get seriously hurt one day.”
He grins, “Come on now, pretty. Have some faith in me—”
His hand gently grasps your hip, his eyes searching yours, trying to find something, he licks his lips muttering, “I don’t mean to worry you.”
You glance down where his hand lay then to his face, your gaze softening and you mutter out another, “Idiot.”
He blinks up at you, “I’m your idiot, (Y/N).”
You roll your eyes, biting back a sarcastic comment as you place the rag on his cheek, smoothing it over with your thumb as he hisses quietly. “Stupid.” You mutter as you glance into those violet eyes, your fingers movements slowing as you see the intensity of his stare.
His mouth opens then closes and he swallows his Adam's apple bobbing.
You reach up your hands pulling his hood down and you run a hand through his hair. “You’re an idiot.”
“I know.” He nods his gaze relentless.
You smirk, “Good to know you’re self aware.”
He rolls those pretty violet eyes, “I won, baby. Why are you so upset?”
You sigh, “I just-”
You glance away, biting at your bottom lip as you think of the right words. When you glance back to those eyes, those eyes you’ve stared into so many times before stare at you, his face unreadable as he rubs his thumb along your hip.
“I care because what if one day you get into a fight and don’t get up, or you get so beat up that not even the best doctor in Japan can help you, okay? Don’t you get it, Rindou!?” You bite your hands shoving at his chest lightly.
“(Y/N),” He said quietly, but you weren't done, not yet, not until he got it through his stupid thick skull.
“You’re too reckless, you and stupid Ran!” You hissed, “You two are so stupid. You know that if I happened to see that you were in the hospital I would lose my mind? Stupid idiot, I don’t get it, you show up here all bruised and bleeding and then you flirt with me, idiot.” You scoff, as your eyes glance down at him sending him one of your nastiest glares, “Then you leave and I don’t hear from you for days!” You throw your hands into the air.
“(Y/N).” He says again this time with more force, as though he wanted to say something.
“Stupid idiot!” You hissed, “You need to get better and answer me, I’m your best friend after all! You go and fight and-”
Suddenly he’s standing to his feet, you stumble backwards at the bluntness, he’s catching you in his arms and pulling you flush against him, “No, you listen, idiot.”
You raise my eyebrows in response, “Fine.” There's a pause before you add, “Idiot.”
“Shut up.” He rolls his eyes, “I fight because it’s thrilling, I fight because Ran is by my side with me, I like it, I love it.” He adds, “Idiot.” Before he speaks again, “I show up here because I enjoy you, you’re thrilling, it's so…” He trails off, “You’re my best friend, idiot, and for those days I don’t answer you… I have no excuse. The only one I can throw your way would be that I like you too much, more than I thought was possible, if I always came over…” He looked into your eyes, “I don’t think I would be just flirting with you, idiot.”
“What do you mean?” you ask dumbly, “What do you mean by that, Rindou.”
He rolls his eyes, “You know what I mean, (Y/N).”
You suck in a breath, “You’re an idiot.”
He rolls his eyes, one of his hands reaching up to gently grip your chin, making you look at him, the other caresses the shirt on your back as he keeps you flush against him, “Tell me I’m not wrong, that you… care for me.”
“Rin-” He cuts you off, shaking his head, his hair falling into his face.
“It’s a yes or no question, baby.”
“No, you're not wrong.” You speak quietly, “I care for you so deeply…”
He nods his head, letting go of your chin to tuck a strand of hair behind your ear, “I also care for you deeply, more than you know.”
“You’re still an idiot.” You sigh.
“Like I said, baby. I’m your idiot.”
You roll your eyes as he leans in closer, his face getting closer to yours, “And I’m about to kiss my idiot.”
“Not in the bathroom, idiot.” You scoff.
