Adolphus // {Cass's Epilogue}
Cassidy left the asylum in less than a year. She abided by the asylums rules, and didn’t break the law. She never touched drugs again, and remained sober for the rest of her life. Because she was 18, and had missed most of highschool, she didn’t get her diploma and didn’t go back to highschool. However, she followed Maddie’s advice and went and got her GED.
After that, Cass didn't really know what to do with her life. She worked here and there, knick knack jobs like working in restaurants, or at retail stores. It wasn't until a couple months later when she got a call from Alice, asking her for her help with an idea, that things finally started to click.
Alice had gotten her license as a therapist, and she wanted to open up a halfway house/group home for girls looking to get away from a life of poverty, abuse, drugs, and manipulation, and find a way into the better world. She knew she couldn't do it alone, and Cass had the experience of being on both sides of the story.
With the funds from Brody, Cass was able to go to college and get the social working training she needed, and the two opened up the place. The place was a huge success. Though it started off slowly, it soon became flooded with girls looking for a better life.
Though she never had any kids of her own, Cass helped Alice raise Alina. Neither of them ever married, because they realized they didn't need a husband-- they needed each other. Their friendship was stronger than any relationship they'd ever be able to build with a spouse, and they both knew it.
Maddie got out of Parkwood shortly after Cass did, and then two stayed in touch for the rest of their lives. Even when they couldn't see eachother, they always called and Maddie loved talking about all the kids she wanted and all the kids she later had.
And they all lived happily ever after.
