Paul Atreides x Fem!Bene Gesserit!Reader
Synopsis : Your mother Gauis Helen Mohiam, was Truthsayer to the falling empire. Raised among royalty, religion, manipulation and corruption, who else would be the perfect wife for the new Emperor Paul Atreides..Who you knew as the Fremen Demon
More here
“Paul Atreides is not dead, mother” You said, walking into the room your mother was in.
You didn’t miss the way she froze, her hand pausing its movement of writing, before she continued.
Always measured, never panicked.
For fear was the mind killer, that is what all Bene Gesserit were raised on. The mere idea of fear or panic was seen as weakness. They do not show such weakness.
“How many times must I tell you not to call me that, child”
Your mother’s voice was cold, unforgiving as it was always ways. Your mother had been Reverend mother at the Bene Gesserit school for many years.
But now she had moved up in the scale of things, she was Truthsayer to the Padishah Emperor himself, Shaddam Corinno IV. He was a quiet man, since aging being more easy to manipulate.
Ripe for the picking in terms of your mother. She did not advise, she dictated, but in a way that was hidden, so even the Emperor did not realise it.
“Have you nothing more to say?” Was your reply, your bright blue eyes contrasting the dark navy veil over your hair, and the cloaks over your body.
“You are part of the Breeding Programme, not my child, Girl”
“He will come for us all, you know of this? He challenges the emperor. If this is the full truth, the emperor will fall for his crimes” You said, voice louder in urgency.
“The emperor was always going to fall, child. He is weak minded, and old with no Heir to his name. He bore only daughters, only one lived to be a woman” She replied coldly, not once looking up from her writing.
“Then she was murdered at night, before she could birth her child. The Great houses claimed it to be the work of the Harkonnens…but you? You claimed otherwise” You said, a new unsettling look in your eyes as you stared at her.
“There was no sufficient evident for such a claim” She replied.
Her writing quickened, you noticed.
“You planned the demise of the Atreides” You said, breathlessly and accusingly.
“Of course I did. Leto Atreides led by his heart, too weak to gain such power, and The Harkonnens? Too bold to obtain such power, they surely too, will fall” She said.
Now, she had stopped writing.
You swallowed, staring down at her. Your mother had soon horrible things your entire life, but conducting a genocide brought a new sickness to your stomach.
“And Jessica? She was your student at the Bene Gesserit school. You claimed she was a vital vessel for our way” You said.
“She disobeyed orders. She was told only to bare daughters” Your mother cut in harshly. You could tell she would never truly get over such a betrayal.
“In disobeying she may have brought forth the one, have your forgotten?” You said, testing her.
“I forget nothing! That boy was nothing but an abomination forged out of Jessica’s own pride” she cut you off.
“Is, mother. Paul lives, now you must deal with the consequences” You corrected her.
“You believe you are not involved?” She said, with a tone that was mocking.
“How could I be? I thought I was not your daughter, Reverend Mother” You replied coldly, before turning, fixing the veil that had slipped down.
When you left the room, she did not continue to write.
You were too clever, she had realised this when you were only a child. You recognised things she did, things others would bypass, and you would question her instead of staying silent.
Questioning oppression and manipulation did not work for the Bene Gesserit.
The emperor had announced his desire to meet with the Baron Harkonnen on Arrakis, to discuss the letter he was sent by Paul Atreides, as well as the so called Fremen demon, the prophet on Arrakis that was responsible for destroying the Harkonnen Harvesting machines.
He was wreaking Havoc on them, and showing them up for the fools they were.
To you, the so called “messiah” was interesting.
The journey to Arrakis was tense, full of nerves for what was to come. The emperor spoke to no one, neither did your mother, then again, neither of them rarely spoke to anyone.
When the ship opened, the sun hit you all immediately. To everyone else, it was a nuisance, to you, it was a warm sensation that you were unaccustomed to.
You had never been to Arrakis before, but you’ve read much about it, learned about what the sisterhood had planted there all those years ago.
Lisan al-Gaib
That’s what they called him. The one who points the way. Some say he is the same one who the Bene Gesserit have been trying to produce for generations.
Some say he is close, some say he is already here
As you all began to walk off of the ship, the Reverend mother approached you “You must act with the upmost Poise, this is your chance”
You swallowed “Must it be him? That monster…”
She turned her head to you “It matters not what form he takes, he has the blood we desire, you do too, you must do your duty to our cause”
You stayed silent, staring into the distance. You sighed, lifting the orange veil to see the landscape better. The warm breeze brushed over you, and you could smell the spice.
In the distance there was a beige Rocky Mountain, surrounded by Sand dunes. You fell into a trance like state, staring at that mountain.
You felt like someone was watching you
You swore you saw figures move on top of the mountain, but before you could look any longer, the Reverend mother used the voice on you.
“Come here”
Your body reacted before your mind did, and when you snapped out of reality, you glared at her. She just kept walking, and reluctantly you followed her.
_
You weren’t surprised to see the emperor use the Sardaukar to strike down the Baron. You watched the man lay limp on the ground, and the na-baron Feyd only watched with a look of excitement.
He sickened you.
He caught your gaze, giving you a smile that sent shivers down your spine.
You looked away.
The attacks came loud and quick. The entire frame of the building shook, dust permeating every inch. The Sardaukar surrounded you all, as you waited for the prophet to show his face.
When he did, he was cool, his strides slow. The Fremen had knocked down the impendingly tall doors into the throne room.
Through the dust, he showed himself.
He wore a stillsuit, and his face hidden through cloth. As he came closer his eyes landed on you, and he walked past you all.
Instead he went to the Baron. He dropped to one knee, whispering something inaudible, before plunging his Crysknife into the large man’s neck.
Baron Harkonnen was dead, and good riddance.
You felt your mother tense, even she had not expected this. The Truthsayer to the Emperor had failed.
It satisfied you.
You pulled your veil down off of your face, feeling too hot. Your breathing was quick, yet no one could tell.
Years of training.
You watched with a poker face, as the Prophet they called Muad’Dib approached you. The Sardaukar lunged slightly as a warning.
But he stood in front of you.
You didn’t look away.
He spoke to the Fremen, who followed him like followed do a God. “Take the Emperor, Kill the Sardaukar.”
There was a beat of silence “Do not harm her”
His words made your lips part. He had been speaking in Chakobsa, the native language of the Fremen. But you had been taught all languages of the imperium, and so understood each word he said.
With one last meaningful stare, he left the room.
Then the Killing began
_
They kept you in the dungeons of the building. It was earily cold for a planet so warm. You clung to the cloaks draped over yourself.
“Who is he?” You asked your mother.
The Reverend mother was sat with an imposing darkness and for one reason only.
She had not expected this, she did not plan for this.
She had failed.
“Irrelevant” was her only answer.
“But-“
“Should he challenge the emperor, Feyd Raytha Harkonnen will fight in his stead. When the na-Baron wins, you will be a dutiful subject to him” The cloaked woman said, leaving no room for another’s opinion.
“He may not win, the Fremen may best him” You said quietly, peering up at the woman.
She was silent for a moment, eerily.
“A Fremen rat beating a trained na-baron? You think meekly” Was her reply, and she looked away.
You stared at her “Do you think so low of people?”
“Your compassion will get you nowhere, child. Grow up and do your duty” Was her cold response.
You gripped your own cloaks harshly. “I owe you no duty” you whispered.
She laughed at your words then, because to her they were amusing. “You have no power over me, without me at your side, you may as well join the Sardaukar in death” she scrutinised.
You turned away from her, silently asking yourself what you had done to get such a wicked cruel woman as your mother.
She didn’t even let you call her mother.
_
When the Fremen finally brought you to the viewing room upstairs, you felt as though you couldn’t breathe.
Would this be the moment of your death?
The emperor had a glare on his face, refusing to accept that his own army had been bested by what he deemed low, common people.
As you stood before the crowd of Fremen, they stared at you.
You were glad of your veil now.
The emperor demanded that this prophet answer for his crimes against him. “You’re facing a full invasion Fremen!” Emperor Shaddam spat.
You watched curiously, seeing the same figure that had looked you in the eyes, standing at the opposite end of the room. He was facing away from you. “How can you be so sure that the great houses are here for me?”
He turned then, and a hush fell over you all.
It was Paul Atreides.
Your lips parted slightly. You had met Paul at a young age, though you barely remembered that time.
But when your mother had tested him only seven months ago, you had been there, you had even conversed for a few minutes.
And here he stood before you, back from the dead.
“They may be curious to hear my side of the story, don’t you think?” Paul said.
He stalked closer to you four, his figure imposing and authoritarian. You could not take your eyes off of him.
“I am Paul Atreides, son of Leto Atreides, Duke of Arrakis” Paul said, his voice growing stronger with every word.
You glanced at the Emperor, he was speechless.
This gave you satisfaction.
“Gurney?” Paul said then, turning his head to the right.
“My lord” Gurney nodded.
“Send a warning to all ships, if the great houses attack, our atomics will obliterate all spice fields” Paul said.
There was an echo of gasps throughout the room. Spice was the most valuable thing in the universe, and it made travel possible.
Gurney nodded, disappearing to the side of the room which overlooked the landscape of Arrakis.
“You’re out of your mind” Emperor Shaddam spoke.
“He’s bluffing” Feyd-Rautha said with a stare.
His voice made you swallow, taking a step away from him.
Your mother spoke then “Consider what you’re about to do, Paul Atreides-”
“Silence!”
Your mother was sent back a foot, falling into the arms of the royal servants. Your own lips parted. You looked from your mother to Paul.
He could use the voice, not seen before in a male. Could he truly be the one?
“Abomination” Was all your mother could mumble out.
You glanced at Jessica then, who was already looking at you. The last time you two met, she was meek, fearing the Reverend mother.
Now she was Reverend mother to the Fremen, carrying a second child. She had an aura of confidence that was new as well.
Her striking blue eyes made you look away.
Gurney came back then “message sent, my lord”
Hearing this, Paul looked back to the Emperor, an enraged scowl on his face.
“As a servant of the imperium, you will bow at my feet!” The emperor spat.
“Your feet?!” Paul yelled incredulously.
You watched timidly, shook by the yell.
Paul walked closer then, like a predator that had cornered its prey, and was now toying with it “You’ll be lucky to keep your head” Paul promised.
He emperor said nothing for a moment before speaking “What is your plan them, hm? To kill us all”
“Not all of you” Paul relied coolly.
His eyes landed on you then, and you swallowed.
He took his time walking over to you, taking in your face. Though something was guarding it.
He pulled the veil over your hand, gentle in a way that would make one forget he had just threatened to kill people.
“I will take your hand in marriage, free you from the hell you live in” Paul said, his voice dropping to a softer tone.
Your lips parted, you felt the vibration of Feyd-Rautha stepping forward, but you couldn’t bring yourself to look away from the Duke.
The Reverend mother’s eyes widened at his words, she stepped forward “What is this madness you speak of? This girl is to marry the future Baron Harkonnen” She said coolly.
Paul’s eyes lifted only to glare at the woman, as if he speaking was the highest insult to him.
When he didn’t answer her, she turned to you “child! Stop this madness at once!” She ordered harshly.
Paul stepped forward then, as if acting as a boundary between you and the woman. “You will be freed from people ordering you around, dictating your life, but in saying that, this is a proposition, not an order”
You blinked “Why? Why are you asking me this?”
He paused then, glancing at the ground before answering truthfully “Because when I spoke with you on Caladan, it made me sick how you were treated. I see you in my dreams, I hear your voice at night, not plaguing me, guiding me. You deserve more”
His words made your lips part, as you stared up at him with your blue eyes that mimicked his own.
“Will you take my hand? Free yourself from the misery they bring?” Paul said, staring down at you.
You found yourself nodding “Yes” you said quietly. Unlike when the Reverend Mother used the voice on you, this was completely your decision.
And you chose freedom, you chose him.
“No, I’ve heard enough!-“ your mother began.
“Enough, or I’ll kill you on the spot” Paul threatened, the blood on his face becoming illuminated by the sun on Arrakis.
Paul looked back at you “You will be safe at my side, and we will rule together over the empire”
His words sent a chill down your spine, not in a nervous way.
He turned to the Emperor then, who had stood silent. “But you? You have to answer for my father”
“Do you know why I killed him? Because he was a man who believed in the rules of the heart. But the heart is not meant to rule, in other words, your father was a weak man” The emperor said.
Paul stared at him “Stand, or choose your champion”
He did not take the bait.
Feyd-Rautha stepped forward with a dangerous smirk “I am here, Atreides. I need a blade”
“Accept mine” The emperor spoke, staring at Paul.
Feyd-Rautha stepped closer “Perhaps when I kill you, I’ll take her as my wife, to show the imperium you followed your father in weakness”
Paul glanced at you, his eyes telling you to stay calm, and you did.
The fight was skilled, through, and almost took them both. But in the end only Paul atreides lived to see the next day.
Though he had been stabbed twice, he still walked towards the emperor with a limp, the blood on him and murderous look on his face only presenting him as even more frightening.
The Reverend mother gripped your arm painfully tightly. You swallowed, looking up at her. When Paul had reached you both, he glared at the older woman.
“Get your filthy hands off of her” He ordered coldly.
The Reverend mother gave you one last glare before dropping your arm harshly, leaving you close to trembling.
Though you did not.
Paul walked over to you then, his breathing uneven and laboured from the fight. He took your hands in his, and somehow you did not mind the blood.
“I will give you anything you ask for, you will rule by my side. So I must ask you, should I spare them?”
Paul was gesturing to the Emperor and the Reverend mother, you knew this.
That is why you stayed silent.
They both stared at you, the Reverend mother speaking “Say something girl” coldly.
For a long time you did not, and eventually you found yourself looking up at Paul.
And you nodded your head no.
Your answer satisfied him, and it reassured what he had always thought about you. You did have right, you did have strength, you just needed the right person to lead you.
And now you had him.
He nodded at your words, his hands reaching up to take your own as the two began yelling in hopes you would change your mind.
Paul turned to Stilgar then, mumbling in Chakobsa “Kill them”
They were dragged away, into the hall. You turned your head, swallowing. Paul’s finger guided your chin to return back to looking at him.
“You need not lay your eyes on filth, you are an empress now. It had to be done, so you can move forward” He explained in a low tone.
Gurney walked over then “My lord the great houses have denied your request”
Stilgar spoke then “We wait for your word, Mahdi”
Paul stared down at you, sighing before if saying “Lead then to paradise”
“Lisan al-Gaib” the thousands of Fremen chanted.
As the words danced in your ears, Paul leant down, pressing his lips against your own. You froze momentarily before kissing him back.
When he pulled way he leant his forehead against your own then. He blinked “We will win”
You nodded, looking up at him “I trust you”
With that, the Holy War began.

That’s so kind :)))
“Dirty little secret”
Axl heck x Fem!Reader
Summary; You, being sues friend, and neighbour to the heck’s, were almost like part of their family. Axl was always like a brother to you, until he wasn’t, that’s when he really saw you.
You were sat in the Heck’s sitting room, doing homework with Sue. You were both sat on the floor on the carpet, sheets of paper surrounding the both of you like a storm.
“Sophmore year is so hard” You sighed to your best friend.
“Really?! Oh God don’t tell me that?” Sue said, as she was a freshman.
“You’ll be fine Sue, you always do well in school” You reassured her and she smiled calming down.
“Thanks…but I don’t know what I’d do if I didn’t have you in school” Sue admitted.
Sue was more shy than you, she only had one or two friends, and she was very out there. But you had grown up together, and she was your best friend, you would never turn your back on her.
“Of course! And you’ve settled in really well Sue, you’re gonna be just fine” You said making her smile.
Just then you felt a pull on your head. Axl walked past, pulling your ponytail making you roll your eyes.
“What are you dorks doing?” He asked, leaning against the wall.
“Homework Axl, go away?” Sue complained.
You only laughed “Axl people doesn’t even get it. Do you know the concept?”
“What are they, a band?” Axl said making you nod in disbelief.
“Well…Darrin and Sean are coming over soon, you dorks better not be here” Axl said, glancing at you one last time.
You caught his look and blushed, looking away. He left to go back on his room, when he was gone Sue looked back to you. “Are you excited for the first game of the season?”
You nodded “I hope they win”
Sue laughed “I’m more excited to see you cheer, it’s far more entertaining than football”
You smiled “I think Axl would disagree with that”
“As if I care” Sue rolled her eyes.
You went back to your homework.
__
That Friday, the first game of the season was on. Axl was playing, he had been part of the team since he was a freshman. He was their best player.
You had been a cheer leader since last year, when you joined high school. You loved it, and you’d made lots of friends through it.
Thankfully, the team had won, in fact they had destroyed the other school. You and your friends had nailed all of the cheers you had been practicing since the start of the year.
At the end of the night, you were waiting for Sue, as she was going back to your house for a sleepover. Suddenly someone approached you.
Greg Montgomery, a boy in the year ahead, a junior.
Like Axl
“Hey” He said, a smooth smile on his face.
“Oh..Hey” You smiled back softly.
“You looked really good out there, I was watching” He said, nodding.
“Oh…Thank you Greg” you smiled up to him.
“It was a good game, wasn’t it? I was surprised they did so well, usually the basketball team is the one to wipe out other teams, we’re good.” Greg boasted.
“Yes…the basketball team is good” You nodded, not knowing what else to say.
“Mhm…Well…I guess I’ll see you around?” He asked, with a hint of hope in his eyes.
You nodded “Sure” you said quietly.
He nodded “Goodnight” giving you one last smile.
“Night” You waved back.
Once he disappeared from sight, you let out a breath you didn’t know you had been holding. Just then you felt a hand on his arm. You let out a small yell.
You turned to see Axl, you slapped his chest “What the hell!”
“Hey! Jeez!” He said, taking a step back after you slapped him. He was still in his football gear, muck on his face from the game.
You sighed “Sorry…you scared me”
“Sorry” he said with attitude.
“What are you doing here?” You asked him.
“Forgot my helmet” He said, picking it up.
“Oh” You said.
Axl nodded, looking around before saying “So you were talking to Greg, huh?”
“Uh…yeah I was, why?” You asked him.
“Nothing…Nothing..” Axl said.
You shivered slightly in the cold. It was a crisp late September evening, when the evenings starting to cool down.
“Here” Axl said, handing you use varsity jacket he had been holding.
You smiled shyly “Thanks Axl”
Just then Sue yelled for you a few metres away. “I better go” You said.
“Yeah…..Wait!” Axl said suddenly.
You turned, looking at him “Yes?…”
He paused, swallowing, as if finding what he was even trying to say “I…..Nevermind”
You sighed, as if wishing he would say what you both knew he wanted too. “Alright…see you later?”
“Yeah” He nodded, a longing look in his eyes.
__
Greg had asked you to Homecoming, you had said yes. You weren’t really sure why you did. Maybe it’s because all of your friends told you too, that he was a junior, that you were lucky.
Or maybe it’s because you wanted to forget about someone else.
One evening, you were walking home from the library, at around 9pm. Your winter exams were coming up and you wanted some peace and quiet to study.
“Hey!” A voice yelled from a car beside you.
You looked over to see Greg “Oh…Hey, what’s up?”
“Get in, I’ll give you a ride home”He said with a smile that seemed too nice to reject.
“Oh….well…Okay” You agreed. You had a nervous feeling in your stomach, but it was late and you were tired.
When you were in the car, he put his arm around you, you tensed, but didn’t push him off.
When you realised he was driving the opposite way of your house you swallowed. “W-Where are you going”
Greg didn’t reply, only pulling in to a Cul De Sac and turning the car. He turned to you, leaning in to kiss you.
At first you froze, and then you pulled away “Greg…I want to go home please”
“Oh come on, have a little fun” He said, sliding his hand up your leg.
You swallowed, opening the car door and getting out. There were tears in your eyes “Hey! Come back!” Greg said.
You swallowed nervously, he was following you, but before he reached you there was a yell “Hey! What the hell do you think you’re doing?”
You both turned to see Axl. You wiped your tears, sighing in relief. Greg swallowed “Nothing Heck..beat it”
Axl only walked closer, straight up to Greg who swallowed “You beat it asshole, now”
Greg scoffed, glaring at you one last time before getting in his car and driving away.
Axl turned to you, watching nervously as tears fell down your cheeks “Hey…it’s okay he’s gone”
You sniffled, wiping your tears “Yeah..”
Axl froze for a moment before taking a step forward and hugging you. You felt yourself melting into his hold.
“He’s an asshole” He said, holding you against his chest.
“Yeah” You sighed, your tears finally stopping.
“Come on, I’ll walk you home” Axl offered.
You nodded, and you both began walking in the direction of your house. After a minute or too, he took your hand in his, and you let him.
_
On the day of the dance, you felt awful. Obviously you weren’t going with Greg anymore, so you felt like an idoit, everyone knew about what happened.
When you opened your door to go to the dance, your eyes widened, there he stood.
Axl.
You swallowed “I…I thought you were going with Jessica.” Jessica was a girl in Axls year. She was head of the cheerleaders.
“I was….but then I realised I wanted to spend the dance with someone I actually like” Axl admitted, staring at you.
“You…You like me?” You asked, surprised.
“Yeah…I guess I do…just don’t tell people I said that…I’d sound like a dork” He said, you laughed.
At the dance, you spent the whole night together. You both saw Greg and Jessica together. Jessica knew what he had done and she still went with him, that was the kind of person she was.
You didn’t care though, because you were with exactly who you wanted to be with. The final song was a slow song, one that made Axl hold you even closer.
Your arms were around his neck, his around your waist. “I wanted to really thank you…for what happened last week”
“You don’t have to thank me for that” He said, and you could tell he meant it.
“No…I want to” you said.
He nodded “alright….but you should know I did it because I care”
“You care?” You asked.
“Yeah…I care about you” He admitted
You blushed smiling slightly, and before you knew it, he’d leant down, and kiss you. Your arms tightened around his neck, and he pulled you closer. The kiss deepened, your heads tilting.
When you pulled away Axl sighed “You don’t know how long I’ve wanted to do that”
You laughed, kissing him again.
It was the perfect night.
My husband btw
hi! can i request a finn bennett x popstar! reader? they met in London and starred in films together and they don't care that finn is like levels below the reader. thank you!
- Money is Everything -
Pairing: Finn Bennet x Fem!Popstar!Reader
Synopsis: You were both child actors, staring in movies together when you were barely teens, and now he was beginning to finally get recognition, but you already had it all…yet you still looked to him.
Authors note: I love this request sm! Please keep sending some in :) I kind of based the readers aesthetic on Addison Rae Xx
Popstar
That’s what the media was starting to call you. Now, you had been known by the average person from a very young age. You had the parents that put their kid in every acting class from when they could walk. London was a busy city, but it also meant big opportunities.
You had always loved to sing, but you had gotten into acting, so it seemed unlikely you’d pursue it. You can still remember the excitement of your agent calling to say you had been booked for a movie.
It was a sort of coming of age movie, as well as a Rom-Com. You were cast as the main characters younger self, and you were in around the first fourty five minutes of the movie, that was big. Finn, had been cast as the love interests younger self. You were supposed to have been childhood friends in the movie. Filming had been so easy with him, so natural.
Your shooting only took a couple of weeks, but you can still remember how much fun you had with that boy. You were both from London, so you connected easily, even if you had both been around only 13 at the time. He was funny, different from the bother boys you had met.
You had stayed friends through the years, but as your both grew your fame, it was harder to stay in contact.
You were finally given the opportunity to get into music when you were around twenty. You had gotten a break from acting, and an opportunity came up that a producer was free.
You already had songs made it up your head, but getting to put them to actual music was everything you had dreamed of, and when you released your first single, you blew up.
The following year, your album came out, you were around 22, and before then, you were sometimes recognised by people, but rarely.
Now you couldn’t even go to your corner shop in London anymore without being harassed. The paparazzi had taken a liking to you alright.
People were calling you the “new Britney Spears”
But there were so many positives. You were invited on shows, Graham Norton, Jimmy Fallon, the list goes on. It felt as though you blew up overnight.
They were calling you the new Popstar.
It felt good.
It wasn’t until you were asked to create a song for an A24 movie, that you met Finn again after so long. It was for the backrooms, which at the time you believed to be odd, that it didn’t fit the vibe, but somehow, it did.
In a kind of twisted creepy way.
Finn was starring in that movie, it wasn’t a huge role, but he had gotten quite famous after a knight of the seven kingdoms had been released the year before where he had played Aerion Tarharyen.
You thought he looked hot with that blonde wig.
Things between you felt different, there was a new tension that hadnt been there before you joined the Backrooms project.
But it wasn’t until the night of the Oscar’s that either of you acted on it. The film had been nominated for a few different things, but your song had been nominated for best music (original song) Along with other songs in it.
When the movie came out, your song had blown up, for the eerie affect it had for watchers. To be fair, who puts a pop song in a psychological horror? well, A24 did, and it was creepy. But it also blew up for the catchy tune.
So much that the Oscar’s asked you to preform it.
You were sat next to Finn that night, and you couldn’t deny that the wine you’d been drinking all night wasn’t having an effect on the way you were looking at him.
But he was looking at you too.
After you had preformed, a picture of him kissing your cheek had gone viral on twitter, mere moments after the event. But at the afterparty, things only went even further.
The lights were dark, it was 2:30 am, you were both dancing together. It was a slow enough song, and there were many other actors and artists near you.
Finn had leaned down to whisper in your ear “You sang really well, tonight”
You couldn’t help but blush, etching even closer to him, as your arms around his neck tightened “Thank you…I was so nervous” you admitted with a smile.
“Why? Everyone loves you” Finn said, poking you as a tease making you nudge him with a playful glare.
“What?! It’s true, people are probably wondering why you’re here dancing with me, when you could have another other guy in this room” Finn said, and as he got further into his sentence, you could tell this was coming from the heart.
The frowned slightly at the words “Why would I dance with someone else, when I have you?”
The way you seemed so certain about what you were saying, like someone else wasn’t even a thought, made Finn freeze, now looking down at your lips.
You saw this and smiled, the wine you’d drank showing now “You know I could always read you”
“What are you doing with a guy like me?” Finn murmured, his face so close to yours your lips were almost touching.
“Because…Because I want to be here with you” You admitted.
With that, Finn closed the distance between you too, kissing you with a force that sent shivers down your spine. Your arms tightened around his neck, the kiss deepening, his tongue slipping in your mouth as he pulled you even closer against him.
When you both eventually had to pull away, you laughed, your forehead against his “You still want me?” He’d whispered.
“Hell yeah, you’re a good kisser Bennet” You teased, and he smirked, pressing another kiss to your lips.
The pictures of you both walking together and kissing occasionally that night went viral the next day, and you were the internet’s new favourite celeb couple.
It was safe to say Finn was at all of your concerts, watching you with those eyes that spoke of Love, pride, and something warm that Finn always carried inside of him.
You loved that man.
And he adored you.

~ The Interview ~
Finn Bennet x Fem!Reader
Synopsis: You and Finn featured in season four of “True Detective” together, and ended up falling in love while filming. Now, months later when the series was finally airing, you were all going to interviews and promoting the show. But what happens when the interviewer gets a little too bold, while Finn is sat beside you
Based off of this request <3
It has been a long few weeks. You, along with all of the cast of True Detective season four, had been going on a press tour, and the media were having a field day. Not only was there a new series of a very popular show coming out, but two of the lead actors were dating.
You and Finn.
You played his wife in the show, you had actually worked with him on another project two years ago, but he had been dating someone else then, so you had just stayed friends. You were 25 now, and he’s 26. It just all happened at the right time.
He had split up with his girlfriend a year before shooting began. Before, when you had featured on a movie together, you had played friends. But even then, the internet had a field day in shipping the both of you, the paparazzi snapping shots of you both, especially as you continued to stay friends after.
But in True Detective your roles obviously had a very different context. You were his wife, and you had a young child together in the show too. There were many kissing scenes and more…
You’d fallen in love with him two years prior, but this time, he let you know he loved you too. He admitted one night, when the whole cast had been out for drinks after shooting, that he’d had a crush on you during the filming of that movie.
You’d blushed, and pretended you didn’t share those feelings at the time. But little did you know then that he hadn’t stoped loving you. You remember asking why he never said anything. He said it was because he was dating someone at the time, and while someone else may have gotten jealous, it made you like him even more, and made you have more respect for him, because he was a good person.
He said it was part of the reason he and that girl broke up, that, it made him realise what love actually felt. That was the night you both shared your first kiss, a kiss that was real and wasn’t scripted. For the rest of the filming, the directors found your scenes to be very easy to film.
It wasn’t until after filming was wrapped that he finally asked you to be his girlfriend. This time, the timing and the place was all right. Now, five months later, you were both living together and falling in love with each other a little more everyday.
It made long and slightly boring interviews more enjoyable when your boyfriend was sat beside you. On this particular day, you were both sat together, your head leant against his side, as a male interviewer asked you what felt like the millionth question.
“What was it like dealing with a child on set?” The man asked.
You smiled, looking up at Finn who was smiling back. “Yeah, it was actually really sweet and enjoyable. They actually had more than one baby, as well, obviously they got tired quickly, so less crying” You’d giggled.
“Yeah it was really great, it taught me a lot” Finn agrees, smiling at your laugh.
The interviewer nodded, looking down at his sheet before saying “I just have one more question now, this one is for you” The man said, gesturing to you now.
You sat up slightly from Finns side, nodding with a kind smile. The man smirked slightly, and Finn couldn’t help but notice the way the man was eyeing you up.
“So, obviously you both had to have many kissing scenes, many fans want to know, did you enjoy them?” The man said, an almost sick smirk resting on his face now.
You blushed slight at the largely informal question. Finns brows furred as he wondered why the man was asking only you.
“Oh…I wasn’t expecting that question” You’d said with a nervous laugh. “Well, kissing and intimate scenes are part of our job, I mean we’re actors, sometimes you have to do awkward things you might not feel comfortable or used to doing, but at the end of the day you have to be professional and get it done” You’d shrugged, while Finn nodded beside you.
The man laughed slightly “So you did not want to kiss him?”
Your eyes shot open “What? No, it’s not like that. Thanks to the paparazzi I think everyone knows I like kissing my boyfriend” you laughed and Finn smirked “But what I mean is that, we were doing that before we were dating, some people have to do it with actors they may not necessarily even like, but it’s our job, and you have to realise that”
The man nodded, not fully satisfied with that answer but not pushing further on the matter. “Well, maybe you could show me what you learned in those scenes some time” The man joked, but it only made you feel awkward.
Finn scowled at his comment, huffing at how unprofessional the man was being, and how he was making you, his girlfriend feel uncomfortable. “I don’t really feel like sharing those skills” Finn said, a joking manner in his words but not in his tone.
The man laughed, thinking Finn was playing along with his sick joke “You hear this? I think you better put a leash on this one”
“Oh I won’t be going anywhere, don’t worry” Finn said, nodding but he wasn’t smiling but rather slightly glaring as he looked at the camera men.
“We done? Yeah? Great..” He said, standing quickly as the cameras shut off. You swallowed immediately, knowing there wasn’t a camera on your face made you finally process what was being said to you.
Finn was beside the man before you even realised it, and you heard him say “Don’t ever talk about my girlfriend like that, it’s unprofessional, in appropriate, and I wont fucking tolerate it, got it? Good.” With that Finn turned back to you, pulling you up from the seat.
When you were out of the room he turned to you “You alright? He was sick a prick” he muttered.
You nodded “I’m fine, honestly”
Finn murmured something under his breath, making you smile slightly “I didn’t know you were the jealous type, huh?” You teased.
Finn scowled but he couldn’t help but smile, leaning his head down to you, pressing a kiss to your lips as you walked past many people working with the set “For you? I’d go crazy you know that”
Hi! I thought I’d send in a request for a Finn Bennett x Reader story where they are dating and he gets jealous. I think it would be cute lol. Thanks if you do it!

if they hadn't killed the dragon in the play, this story would have been so different. Look at him, he is enthralled. He would have stayed, bought the merch, thrown cash onstage, stage-doored...
