This is a good point though, some people are very sensitive to blood and other gore, as well as other topics, a simple warning or flagging the art as mature would save some people a lot of unnecessary anxiety and stress.

Unfortunately we do not have control over what other people do. None of the mods here have ever sent you any ill wishes or negative comments, and feel the need to post this message to encourage our followers to do the same.

Please do not send Cassmutt hate messages this is not productive, you're not helping the situation, and it is upsetting and triggering to Cass. Do not fight hate with hate please. Instead, kindly inform her with facts or send in to this blog what she did that upset you. That way Cass will hopefully learn from her mistakes, and be encouraged to improve herself because she had our support, as apposed to our hate!

As a photographer yourself, you should know better than to take some random picture you found off google or tumblr and use it in a piece without linking credit to the artist in the description. You should also have permission from them before doing this, or get your image off of a free resource site that allows for use of their work by others.

Not to mention it is highly unprofessional to use someone else's property in your commission work, something you were paid to do. You were not paid to slap someone else's image on there, you were paid for your art.

Long ask I'm so sorry You know how Cass kind of got on Fluffy for drawing boobs on her own character? Didn't Cass draw boobs on Fluffy in the porn she drew her? Also, you can't blame mental disorders for everything. Sure, I have OCD, and sometimes it causes me to have some anxiety problems, but I don't use it as an excuse. They aren't just pillows to fall back on. Not to throw shade, but she needs to use the excuse "I haven't matured fully yet." and act like an adult with said disorders.

We are not well versed on Fluffy drama, but from what we can gather, Fluffy is in the process of experimenting with their gender, which is a normal thing to do at that age. Instead of respecting their pronouns, Cass continues to use she/her pronouns when referring to Fluffy, thus why she drew breasts on the porn picture. Unless Fluffy requested breasts on their character in that trade (which we do not know as of yet), Cass continues to see Fluffy as a female, a ‘transtrender’ as she once said. I’m relatively surprised that Cass is being this disrespectful of someone trying to figure themselves out, as she herself, had just finished trying on new pronouns and gender identities to find one thats right, as she identified as genderfluid around a month ago.

Yes, while it’s true mental disorders make everything harder, your actions are still your own, and hiding behind excuses that it wasn’t your fault is cowardly. Cass still said and did those things, even if she is more prone to outbursts because of them, she should be working toward improving herself and how she handles her mental state.

Unfortunately most of Cass’s apologies are a quick I’m sorry, and then a long paragraph of why it wasn’t her fault, avoiding taking responsibilities for her actions. Such as in The Change Journal where Cass blames her mistake on having a bad day and her ‘emotional issues’, as she puts it. Or in her journal apologizing for hurting a lot of otherkin and nonbinary people, she went off on a tangent about how she did what she did because how she doesn’t understand and dismissed their identities, saying that they were all human, and that other genders don’t exist.

Hopefully she means it though, we would love nothing more than to see her improve as a person!

It’s not about whether you get caught or not, it’s about the morality of making money off of someone else’s property. You would get upset if someone copied Cass and sold them as a adoptable, or traced your work and marketed it as a ych or as a complete commission. The fact that you think what you did is okay simply because it’s a large scale company that won't notice you is frankly insulting to anyone who has ever created content of their own before. It’s copyright infringement and whether you get prosecuted or not for it, it’s wrong.

You should not have accepted the commission in the first place as it is a trademarked image. You could have explained this to the commissioner and opted to create a character based off "Cookies and Cream" for instance, and completely avoided this altogether.

Yeah the fluffy logic blog is full of cass stuff rn. Cass even uses her mental stuff as an excuse to draw what she did for fluffy. Like I'm 18 and have a lot of mental disorders, and I'm friends with minors(not saying much because I'm 18), I would NEVER draw porn for or of my underage friends because that shit is illegal.

Its really unfortunate that she thinks what she did was okay. There is proof of her trying to justify drawing child porn with the fact that she originally wasn’t going to post it too. The fact that she was going to keep it a secret really does not make doing legal or morally right in any form.

And the fact that she is blaming her disorders on her own mistakes is very childish. She spends a lot of time boasting about how she’s an adult but she doesn’t act like it. One of the mods here has 5+ mental disorders as well as gender and species dysphoria, and they would never dream of fluffing off their outbursts and mistakes as something they couldn’t control. Because they consider their disorders as a reason to constantly work to improving themselves. Have a tendency to be irritable or angry? Be wary of that and try your hardest to be patient and understanding of people. Its by no means easy, but if you really care you would try your hardest to be the best you, you can be. Cass has always blamed her actions on her ‘flaws’, claiming she couldn’t control what happened and as a result she never takes from her mistakes and works to becoming a better person. As Cass always says, everyone makes mistakes, but its important to grow from them.

That's understandable, we've noticed that the way Cass communicates is kind of offensive, even when she's saying opinions that are valid and not offensive at all, the way she says them is, so it's understandable that you got a bad vibe from her. Perhaps try asking her to unwatch, I know she's been asked that in the past and has obliged.
