The angels from between
Castiel contemplated that for a moment as he glanced at the lobster tank. “I suppose I hadn’t thought of that,” he said, as he hesitantly glanced at his own plate which he had almost finished by then. He looked at Jack.
“No, I suppose that is alright, Jack, just don’t tell Sam,” he told the Nephil. Sam was always making sure that Jack ate his dinner before moving on to dessert. Castiel suspected it was due to not wanting Jack to pick up Dean’s poor eating habits.
Castiel looked across the table at Hannah. “Is there anything you would like to do after this?” he asked. “It might be a good idea to return to the bunker and try to get some sleep.” He had hoped that Lucifer’s interruption hadn’t disrupted the evening too much, but he also felt that after what the two of them had been through together, that perhaps a good night’s sleep might be in order for them. Of course, they wouldn’t need any sleep if their captives hadn’t drained their grace.
Jack looked down at his lap upon the mention of Sam. He felt bad that he was going behind his back to eat sweets.
“Maybe… I shouldn’t eat dessert then, either. I’m not really hungry anyways.”
Hannah watched the guilt trip Jack went through and took a pause herself; maybe she shouldn’t be eatting as much as she was when Castiel and the nephil both hardly touched their food. She sat her fork down, remembering herself, and cleared her throat.
“You’re right. Going back to the bunker would be best, though I’m not sure I’m welcome.”
Castiel sighed, feeling that uneasy tension slowly seeping back into his mind. “We can at least take the leftovers back,” he offered, glancing at Jack. “In case you get hungry later.”
Castiel paid the rather hefty bill and glanced at Hannah, “the Winchesters may not want you there but unless they plan to kick me out too, they are going to have to get used to it,” he declared, firmly. He knew Dean would protest but he had no idea what the two of them had just been through and what they would likely continue to go through.
After the bill was paid, they loaded back into the truck and Castiel gazed out on the road as he drove. There was an uneasy silence as he thought about Lucifer. He hoped they would be able to get out of Doriel’s curse before things got bad, but he had no idea just how bad they would get. What was going to happen? how much control did this Doriel have over each of them? What were his plans with this? Was this curse going to make them sick? Kill them? or was it going to control them? Take over their minds like a possessed vessel? An angel was a powerful being and if someone else could wield that power for themselves, an angel would be a very dangerous weapon. Castiel shuttered to think about Hannah or himself would be capable of under those circumstances.
Castiel glanced to his right, to his passengers, as he pulled up in front of the bunker. The misery he felt when he thought about the suffering he caused, he was certain that he wasn’t going to allow it to happen again. He silently made plans to talk to Jack privately about something he hoped the boy would be prepared to do if the worst happened.
“Home again,” he told his passengers as he parked the truck.
Here are a couple new fan art stuff I have done very recently. The first one is a random angsty scene that could probably fit in many of my fics as well as a few RP threads, so feel free to take it as you will. The second one is Hannah in a dress and it’s actually not finished as I am still working on the dress. The third is a cover for a SPN season 4/season 14 apocalypse universe fic I am doing.

Castiel smiled, happy to see Hannah enjoying the lobster. “Well, I believe it came from those tanks,” he said, pointing to the lobster tanks at the front of the restaurant. “But I’m glad you like it.” He glanced at the other plate that Lucifer had left them with.
Castiel tried to relax and attempted to change the subject away from Doriel or Lucifer. He glanced at Jack. He knew the Nephilim was curious about his biological father and this encounter probably confused him. “Don’t forget to save room for dessert,” he said. “Dean would recommend the pie but there are a few other selections.”
Hannah’s gaze followed Castiel’s gesture towards the tanks of lobsters moving slowly around the faux ocean bottom, their hands rubber banded shut. Her brows furrowed as she chewed another piece of food she had popped into her mouth.
“Have you ever thought about the lobsters watching you as you eat their brethren? Of course they’re just crustaceans, but it does make you wonder.”
Her moment of introspection must not have bothered her too much, because she continued to munch away on the buttery goodness.
“That’s… extremely depressing to think about,” Jack replied, his eyes shifting nervously between the live lobsters and Hannah’s dinner. “If it’s all the same to you Castiel, I think I’d like to skip straight to dessert.”
Castiel contemplated that for a moment as he glanced at the lobster tank. “I suppose I hadn’t thought of that,” he said, as he hesitantly glanced at his own plate which he had almost finished by then. He looked at Jack.

Threads
Okay so I know I have been kinda missing in action for like a month but I have been so ridiculously busy! So I am trying to work my threads back into my schedule again, I’d like to maybe set a goal of trying to get through one muse a day on the weekdays, but since Hannah is my most active muse I will probably cut her threads up into two or three days, but that’s kinda what I’d like to do on the weekdays. Still have my pop up blocker till 5PM but that should still work. Anyway, I know I have been gone for like ever and I would definitely like to continue on with all my threads but I understand if it’s been too long for some of you, just let me know if you would like to continue.

SPN season 14
Oh yeah and I thought I would also mention that I am not caught up on season 14. I have been out of the loop since the December mid season finale because Amazon took it off and Amazon was my only way of getting the show on my TV since I don’t have cable and my computer doesn’t have sound. All I have is Amazon and Netflix so I have been waiting, not so patiently, for the season to appear on Netflix which it did this month. I binged and got caught up in three days and all I have to say about that season finale was just… wow… I’m still in shock and trying to process it all.
Low activity notice
Hey everyone, as you can probably guess by now, I don’t really have time for tumblr anymore. I have classes online all week projects, and I am working on a few start up company ideas including a magazine for people with Aspergers, and a website for writers. I am learning graphic design, web design, and of course being a better writer! Now one little side project I have is that I am putting all my fics together and I want to design my own Hannah/Castiel Fanzine so that’s something that’s going on mainly as a hobby but also as a chance to practice my design skills.
Anyways, I have no time for social media on the weekdays and on weekends I tend to spend that time catching up, doing chores/errands, and stuff like that. I try to set aside time for Tumblr on weekends but it doesn’t always happen.
So basically, all my muses are going to become medium to low activity muses. I’m not going on hiatus or anything I still plan to continue my RPGS, of course, it’s just that they won’t be updated as frequently as they were before.
By the way you guys are all my friends so if you want to catch up with me outside Tumblr, you can. My blog is: https://mycornerofeverything694875024.wordpress.com/ and I would love some followers! You can track me down on facebook, https://www.facebook.com/elyse.m.brown

Here’s a Hannah wallpaper I made by the way

The angels from between
Castiel smiled as he watched Hannah pull Lucifer’s discarded plate towards her. “Well it may not be as fresh as what you had prepared for us back in the cave,” he said. “But I think you’ll like it.” He hoped he might be able to salvage what was left of their impromptu dinner date.
He felt Jack’s hand on his arm and didn’t realize how much he needed that subtle show of comfort. He clasped his hand over the Nephil’s, grateful for Jack’s presence. “I don’t know what that angel did to us,” he said, careful not to mention Doriel’s name again as he glanced across the table at Hannah, looking between her and Jack. “But we’ll get to the bottom of it. Without Lucifer’s help if it can be managed.”
“Of course we will,” she smiled warmly, “but for now let’s enjoy the remainder of the evening.”
Hannah was lying partially. She knew they would be able to figure out what was going on, that was a given, but she didn’t believe they would be able to fix it without help. Whatever this angel was doing to her– to them– it was something she didn’t even know was possible. The clouds that fogged her mind when she heard his name or when he was near enticed her to obey him. There was a lure that she couldn’t fight, and when all you knew to do in your millennium of existing was to clench your fist and rip your enemies to shreds, the lack of control was unsettling.
She dunked a small piece of lobster into the ramekin of butter and tasted the dinner she was denied enjoying earlier. Eyes opened wide at Castiel and she hummed with approval.
“This is delicious! You said it isn’t fresh?”
Castiel smiled, happy to see Hannah enjoying the lobster. “Well, I believe it came from those tanks,” he said, pointing to the lobster tanks at the front of the restaurant. “But I’m glad you like it.” He glanced at the other plate that Lucifer had left them with.

“We’ll deal with Lucifer and his deal later,” Castiel replied, glancing around at both Hannah and Jack. “Maybe we can find a way to defeat this curse without him.” He’d make the deal if he had to, after all, didn’t he deserve to suffer after everything he had caused to his fellow angels? He realized then that he had grown so accustomed to this constant companion of guilt that this constant self loathing had become so familiar. He was always more than willing to put himself in the line of fire for others, not just because he cared for them but because he didn’t value his own life enough. After all, wasn’t that the real reason he made the deal with the Empty to save Jack? Maybe saving Jack was just a bonus and he really made the deal because he thought it was what he deserved.
Castiel shrugged at Hannah’s next statement, looking down at his plate. “I understand why you say it,” he said softly. “To survive. I… I’m sorry I didn’t mean for any of this to happen. I just wanted to get us out of the bunker and it only got worse.”
Her lips pursed as she looked at Castiel. Something about the way he looked away from her hurt more than any spoken word or physical hit. How could she let him know that she really did care about him? If she did, it would go against everything she had ever taught herself. Survival is what’s important, not feelings– that didn’t stop it from hurting, though.
Jack placed a comforting hand on Castiel’s arm, something Hannah would have done if her pride would let her. For now, she had to settle with doing it vicariously through the nephil.
“It’s not your fault,” she assured him. Saying something that would fix everything came as a struggle. Maybe she needed to stop saying and actually start doing.
“Besides, now I have two lobster dinners! I think that’s pretty lucky if you ask me,” she beamed, pulling the extra plate towards her self.

Update
Hey everyone I have been super busy! And I am about to be busier. I just finished a job on upwork and I might have a few other prospects, plus I have course work and a writing workshop to get ready for next week. In addition, my sister just got in from Texas last night so I will be cramming with my school work when I can so I can hang out with her. So yeah, needless to say, I am very busy. I may have time to do replies tonight, but if not, I should be able to get to them next weekend. I still have a social media blocker on both google chrome and firefox during the weekdays between 9 and 5 (pacific time) so I won’t be on here much at all during the weekdays. I haven’t even had time to do any fan fiction writing or much of anything for myself because I have been so busy. I am loving it though, I love everything that I am learning and am super excited!
I feel super motivated by all this. I am 35 so I am worried that by the time I get done with all this training I will struggle to find a job, I worry no one will hire someone my age who doesn’t have experience, but hopefully that won’t be the case. I have a lot of prospects on Upwork as a freelancer so that is probably the route I will be going with this. It’s cool because I am not just a graphic designer or a writer, I am both. And once I gain the skills in web design that I need, I think I will have a lot to offer potential clients.
If anyone wants to keep track of me in other places besides tumblr, I do have a Wordpress blog although I will be getting my own domain name and my own website at some point once I learn how to put it together, but for now, my blog is: https://mycornerofeverything694875024.wordpress.com/ and my blog covers anything that is of interest to me. From spirituality to writing to society to stuff like that, I also do client blogs which are blogs that someone might hire me to write for them, and those are usually on the topic of food, restaurant reviews, business reviews, travel, stuff like that. You can also follow my blog on facebook and my personal facebook is: https://www.facebook.com/elyse.m.brown?hc_location=ufi Let me know who you are if you add me though because I am becoming more selective of who I add if I don’t know the person.
Anyways, I will get to my replies as soon as I am able to, just wanted to let everyone know I haven’t disappeared forever!
So I’m going back to college
Kinda sorta. I’m 35, I’ve been out of college for almost a decade but I really want to take this whole graphic design thing seriously so I signed up for an online college. It’s about six months long but I’ll be getting a certificate at the end. I’m a week into it already which is why I have been scarce lately, but yeah so far its really going great. Going to be taking classes in image making, typography, photoshop, illustrator, and a little web design, among other. Hopefully by the end of it I can be more competitive on Upwork which is where I am hoping to start my career in writing and graphic design.
Anyway, I still have plenty of other stuff going on so I will be busy these next few months. I should be able to be on here on weekends but weekdays I might be a little scarce.

Gotta Focus
So I have a procrastination problem and I have a habit of wasting a lot of time on social media instead of focusing on my work. Which is why I just installed a social media blocker on both firefox and google chrome. It will block Tumblr and Facebook since those seem to be my main issues. The hours will be from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday. USA Pacific time. During those times, all I will be able to do is lurk about on my mobile, I hate using mobile to respond to RPs and PMs, I can if I really have to but I don’t like to so yeah.
So yeah that means I will only be active in the mornings (sometimes, depending on when I get up) and in the evenings. That also means that I may not always get to every RP every single day. I will try to but work needs to come first.
For those who don’t know, I am now a freelancer on Upwork. I am writing professionally now (haven’t gotten any jobs yet but I will soon!). In addition, there is the second novel in my novel series, as well as my blogs and my graphic design ventures. This is my career so it needs to come first.
So yeah, time to be focused!
The angels from between
“Hannah,” Castiel watched her with concern. He’d begun to get worried back in the cave when it seemed mentioning Doriel’s name had a negative response, and then back in the bunker as well. He was growing suspicious that there was something wrong and Lucifer seemed to confirm that. He didn’t understand the extent of the damage that may have been done by Doriel’s mind probing and he hadn’t begun to feel the affects of it yet.
Lucifer glanced at Jack. “It’s hard enough to get into an angel’s noggin,” he said. “It takes a complex set of spells and abilities and putting it back together again is even harder.”
“Hannah got the brunt of this attack,” Castiel explained, watching the seraph cautiously. “I was scanned as well but he went far deeper with her.”
“Yeah that’s a pretty bad curse,” Lucifer explained. “And it’s only going to get worse. I might know of some things but they will take some time… in any case, what do I get out of helping you? I’m a little low on grace now that you mention it.”
Castiel groaned. He didn’t want to give Lucifer what little grace he had left and he didn’t want to become the archangel’s grace cow, but it wouldn’t be the first time he made a deal before. But before he could agree to anything, Lucifer stood up. “I’ll let you think about it Castiel,” he said. “A steady supply of your mojo and I help you will your current issue. I’ll be back later to let you consider the offer.” With that, he strode away, a smug look on his face.
As if today couldn’t get any worse, she had to go and almost faint in front of Heaven’s most wanted, a nephil, and her only friend in this world. She placed her hand on her forehead, finally not seeing three different versions of the angel across the table from her as her vision cleared completely.
“I can do it,” she interrupted. “I can afford it more than you can.” Hannah measured Castiel up with a single look, no malice behind her comment.
The sudden increase in space was welcomed as Lucifer left them alone, her gaze following him until he left the restaurant completely. It was a tactic all his own, forcing them to take time to think about making such a sacrifice. Nothing about the choice would be easy, except that Hannah was more than willing to take it on herself. What was one more pain in her life? Endurance was a part of her being now, a part of her very grace. She was a survivor. This world was nothing compared to hers.
She turned back to face what was left of her dining party, noticing that they both suddenly looked extremely upset, their faces lined with worry. Thoughts of what she had said earlier about her affections towards Castiel cracked the glass of her facade. A chip fell away to revel the ache in her chest. She never came to realize that it wasn’t her words they were concerned about.
“Castiel,” she said softly, “I didn’t mean what I said earlier. You know that I care about you.” Even to her the apology sounded extremely forced and disappointing. No matter how sincerely she meant it, saying it now didn’t justify her treating him so poorly again and again.
Lucifer popped a piece of lobster into his mouth and chewed thoughtfully while he thought about his answer. “Well other than the fact that Pops had me locked up for eons and then instead of apologizing, he ran off with his sister?” He shrugged. “Heaven is royally screwed up these days. Of course I wonder who we can blame for a lot of that.” He turned a pointed glance at Castiel who promptly turned his gaze down, focusing on his lobster. The guilt that was his constant companion churned within him.
Lucifer gave Hannah a side glance, “you wouldn’t happen to be talking about Doriel would you?” he asked. Castiel flinched at the name. “Oh yeah, he’s one of the up and comings these days. He’s just taking advantage of heaven’s weakness and there aren’t enough angels to stop him. Wait…” he narrowed his eyes at Hannah, then at Cas. “You two haven’t had a run in with him have you? Ah I should have known, I can sense your brains from here. That little scanny thing he did? There’s no coming back from that, Sweet cakes. No cure for it.”
“Cure?” Castiel glanced at Lucifer with alarm. “You’re saying he did something to us and what… we’re going to die?”
Lucifer just shrugged, “guess you’ll just have to find out,” he said.
annah’s vision blurred, her head spinning, causing her to fall against Lucifer. She hadn’t anticipated anyone saying his name. As politely as possible, apologizing all along the way, she tried to sit up straight, every ounce of muscle straining to obey her.
the things she had planned were a bust now. She couldn’t form a two word sentence with all the images flashing through her mind at once. Whatever he had done to her, it could ruin everything she was trying to achieve.
Jack saw the entire thing and reached across the table out of instinct.
“Hannah! Are you alright?” The seraph only saw an outline of the nephil and couldn’t connect that he was trying to help her.
Jack looked at Lucifer with concern. “ Can you fix it?”
"Hannah,” Castiel watched her with concern. He’d begun to get worried back in the cave when it seemed mentioning Doriel’s name had a negative response, and then back in the bunker as well. Jessa Danielson played Castiel’s female vessel in the Lily Sunder episode. F/F Hanstiel. This is what I have been working on all day. Now to get to some replies!
