Hey friends, sorry for the long silence. I've been busy writing, and haven't had anything to show. And then I did some soul searching and learning and realised I have a lot to fix with the book, so I'm catching up on some art. This is a new Metrobopolitan commission in progress based on collage of poster images from Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. And I'm working in watercolour again! It's been forever! I have to say, Aquabord is such a game changer. I've always loved, yet struggled with watercolours. While the bord doesn't make it *easy* it does make it more forgiving and now I have all these ideas for paintings. When I'm writing, I feel guilty about not painting. When I'm painting, I feel guilty about not writing. Let's just pretend I never played music, or sculpted or designed clothing or acted or...😹😭 I'm hanging in there though.
