Rose and Elizabetha might a thing in comon
Thanks to @chumpovodir for noticing it. I hope they like this meme edit.
Elizabetha is so pretty. I'm not lying, she's the prettiest woman that isn't drawn by Kojima:
She's a female fatale who managed to resurect Dracula (her uncle) without loosing her life and her cousin is Alucard. What a legend!
Oh my god... can the people stop connecting the Netfix show with the games! They belong in their own universes and don't drag both sides of different-same fandom🤦♀️
I'm tired of this. Let the game fans to enjoy the games and stop draging Netflixvania fans into this. This isn't their buisness to drag Rose Belmont into this.
……(´ε`;)怎么还是不会画女人
Okay, Konami... I didn't knew you follow on Disney's footsteps on doing the dead mom trope💀
But if we have to take the history and the time period (15th century) well... she died of childbed fever (if wasn't the curse)
But still... I believe that Konami hates the concept of happily ever after. First we had Elisabetha dead, then Sara, then Lisa, Rosaly and now Sypha!?
And Dracula is a bastard for not leaving Belmont's to have a happy ending. First with Leon (Dracula as Mathias) and now with Trevor!?
SYPHA!!!
I love how they kept the CV3's design instead of that pachinko one
Someone gives me the same audecity that Gapryong has:
This dude has more confidance then me because the way he talked to Kenzo so casualy needs to be studied.
In the world full of 1, I will be 29:
I saw this TikTok mini-trend (or it's a trend in gaming comunities)
I heard that everyone talks about how bad the trailler for The Odyssey is, so I'm going to say my honest opinion from someone who reads and loves Greek Mythology (I don't post Greek Myths content, but I will have to express my opinion about this issue.)
The main discussion is around the actress who plays Helen of Troy:
There are people who say that why a black woman plays the most beautiful woman and they put her against the actress who played the same character in Troy film. The problem isn't the actresses themselfs (the Hollywood should take the blame, not these women), but how the people expected Helen to look like and how the history and media chose what she should look like.
First, let's look at the geography of Greece:
Greece it's located on Southeast Europe. While is true that there aren't black people, but it's also wrong to assume that all Greeks have blonde hair with blue eyes (most Greeks are brunette haired people, but there are some who have blonde hair)
Secondly, Mediterranean people have olive skin (majority) and nobles have a pale skin, but isn't like nordic people. The climate plays an important factor to the skin color. The most common hair color is dark brown (which is coomon in Greece, as well as South Spain and Italy.) Then we have the eyes and the most common one are brown eyes (~55–70%), then hazel eyes (~15–25%) and lastly blue and green eyes (~10–20%)
Acording to what I said earlier, Helen has pale-olive skin, dark brown hair with brown eyes, but let's see the actual source itself: from Homer's Illiad.
What he mentions is that she's a beautiful woman that could "launched a thousand ships" due to Trojian war. But there is a detail that he also mentions: white-armed, to imply that she's has noble origins. It does says that she's slim? No. It does says that she's blonde haired woman? Also no. It does says that she has blue eyes? Also no.
So... where it comes from? The answer it's simple: The Renaissance. In the paintings, she's depicted as a fair-haired, iconic enchantress, but also the ideologies in the past centuries played a role, especially in Germany under the failed Austrian painter (because I'm not daring to say his name)
The ideology of Arian race says that Germans and Germanic people are superior and other people are sub-people. For their propaganda, they said that Arians came in Greece and mixed with local population and have "impure" or "inferior" genes. Because of this, it was born the final idea: that Helen was a blonde haired and blue eyed woman and Hollywood took this idea and continued with 2004's film The Troy.
So what happened? Most people ended up believing that Helen is pale skined, blonde haired woman with blue eyes. And that's what resulted with the clash between Tory's Helen (played by Diane Kruger) and The Odyssey's Helen (played by Lupita Nyong'O). The possible (maybe realistic) description of Helen was pale-olive skined woman with dark brown hair and brown eyes (if we take the geographical possition of Greece and other factors)
What Hollywood did is to damige the preception of Helen to the people, taking the idea from the Renaissance paintings up to the failed Austrian painter that Helen is blonde haired with blue eyes.
Yes, I know there are other problems in the movie but I want to talk about the Helen situation (or controversy) that caught my attention and I'm done with these people arguing over which version of Helen is correct one because both of them are wrong. Helen isn't a black woman, but also isn't a blonde woman with blue eyes.
THIS IS SO FIRE!!!

Me to PTJ: See? Isn't hard to write a female character, after all.
Looking at the zoomed in picture of Reis face it looks kind of awkward because her eyes look too realistic? Like either her eyes were drawn using a more realistic art style. Or like her eyes got photoshopped from elsewhere where. I don't if that's why but up close her eyes look a little unncany?
No. Rei's eyes aren't photoshopped. It's an actual panel.
Maybe she had dark circles under her eyes because she's tired and that might comes from the expectations that she had to face in Yamazaki Syndicate as a woman.
We all know that PTJ isn't good at writing his female characters, he intentionaly draw her eyes like this, to show the exaustion. The executives want her only because she's Shingen's cousin and to elevate their status in the syndicate. Maybe (or most likely) Rei was forced to become perfect silent doll and one time when she spoke up, the men or her father told to her 'How dare a woman talk back!?' Not a 'dare you' but 'dare a woman', hinting at misoginy in the Syndicate.
Side note: While there's a theory that she's Gitae's mom (because of dark circles under their eyes), this will ruin his character because if it's conformed that she is his mom, it will turn him into an overpowered Mary Sue (we never got to see if her brother having UI, but her father does- so does her uncle, her twin cousins and her nephew)
Me because the lack of sleep:
Mini-analysis: What is like to live as a woman in Yamazaki Syndicate
No one underatands better then Rei and Somi.
Two women from two different backgrounds, but both women are treated on the similiar manner by Yamazaki Syndicate.
Get ready for the analysis, while listening to Labour by Paris Paloma
I. Rei Yamazaki
We start with Rei Yamazaki. A woman born into Yamazaki Syndicate. While she's a new character introduced, but if you were careful to the conversation, there are men trying to silence her. When she said about her father and uncle with rivalry, a man shouted "how dare a woman to talk back!?"
From this entire panel, we noticed that she's reduced to silence, like she isn't even alowed to speak up because of her gender. And in the same chapter, these three man said that they will unalive Gapryong Kim to prove their worth to her. It's clear that they don't see her as a human who deserves same equal rights. They see her as a pretty wife to elevate their status in Yamazaki Syndicate.
This entire situation, she was raised to be quiet, composed and to carry the weight of Yamazaki name. Being a woman born into this family, Rei isn't called "daughter" by her own father, unlike that brother (Taguya) of hers where he's called "son". Her case reflects (unfortuantly) how daughters are seen in these households.
Rei Yamazaki reflects how daughters are seen by their families, not as their child, but as someone to be married off quickly if men close to their bloodline wants to marry her to gain political favor.
II. Somi Park
Now on to Somi, her situation is a bit different but how she is seen isn't different. A woman born into a Korean Hangure family, dissrespected because she was Korean (we all know too well how Koreans are treated by Japanese.)
The way she was disrespected by Shingen's concubines proves the point what I said about her Koream roots. The other factor to why to concubines hate Somi is because she give birth to a child with Ultra Instict. Combining it, it gives Somi a bit of sheald to those words, but she still can't defend herself from their words.
And let's not forget that volunteared herself. Nit forced to join, but volunteared. All to rise her family's social standing and all she had to do is to get ptegnant by Shingen. While is true that she betrayed him and married Shintaro, but Somi did all to make sure that her family will be respected by marrying into Yamazaki Syndicate. While her relationship with her son, Gun, was complicated because she couldn't raise him as her child. Instead, she had to raise him like a weapon, a tool.
Somi Park reflects that she had to sacrifice herself, but also she made choises what was best for her, for her family and for her son. She couldn't say no to the rules of Yamazaki Syndicate, but she had to navigate into the world dominated by men while being treated as a tool to birth an user with UI.
III. Conclusion
While their lifes are different, their treatement by Yamazaki men didn't changed.
Rei has to be silent, Somi had to navigate. One raised to be a tool to be married off to an executive, the other became a breeding tool for the generation of UI user.
Regardless if they are blood member or an outsider, Rei and Somi are treated as tools of ambition for other men to raise their social standing.
The Mother of Chairman's Child
Summary: After you married him, you are trapped because you carry his child.
Note: This could be considerate a sequel to The Chairman's New Wife.
⚠️Warning: this fic contains topics like abortion, misscarriage and other uncofortable topics.
Is been months since you married Chairmam Beom Taejoo and it's... strange at it's finest.
Not just because of the age gap between you two, but also that his own sons are around the same age with you, especially the second young master.
You look drained, like someone stole something from you. You live with the knowledge that you're married to an heartless man, who wouldn't give a dime about your life and yet... you're stuck to share with him on the personal level.
Sleeping in the same bed, take the shower at the same time, in free time to spend together, etc.
For most of people, that sounds like a bonding or a couple time. To you, it sounds like a nightmare. Like he personaly made sure that you won't leave him entirely.
While your friends, Yoonseo and Haeni are somewhat alowed to do what they want. Meanwhile, you're stuck with the Chairman.
Then, you get the message from Haeni:
Haeni: She's crazy!
You: What? Yoonseo? What's wrong with her?
Haeni: She talks too much about that bastard from Tae family!
You knew where this was going. You knew that Haeni hates Beom family, and then you remembred something: Yoonseo being crazily intrested in Taeha, almost desperatly wanting to chase him to claim him as hers.
Unless... she truly ends up with Taehee instead due to simillar personality.
You: Oh! You mean that she will be Beom Taeha and if it won't, she it will be Beom Taehee?
Haeni: Exactly- how do you know?
You: I'm fucking married to their dad.
Haeni: You- WHAT!?
You: Yeah... I know that Taeha blocked Yoonseo, but that didn't stopped her to get to close to him. From what messages he sent to me, he's annoyed with Yoonseo.
Haeni: Haha... he doesn't like her. She too delusional to think that she's fit to be in Beom family.
You: But Taehee is worse. He f*cks women.
Haeni: Thank god that I dogged it. I hope you're doing well.
You close your phone and place it on the coffee table. You remembred that night and despite that you enjoy it, you couldn't shake of the different scenario: did he used protection in the first place?
And that made you scared. Not because you will be tied down to Beom family for rest of your life, but the idea if you end up pregnant. That made you disgusted and will complicate things further.
You know that both Beom bothers refuse to talk to you, being unconfortable with the age gap between you and their father. You didn't talked to them for the same reason and yet... you prevent Taehee to torment Taeha or covering his relationship with Haesoo... for now.
You get up from the couch and check the calendar. That time of the month didn't came and you start to feel suspricious but also uncertain. What if you indeed ended up-
'No... that's imposible and will never happen.'
You want to believe isn't real and just will came late then usual. From the stress that it's the reason why it never came on time.
Then all the sudden, the door bursts loud and Taehee walks in, looking angry then usual. From what you learned, Taehee throws a tantrum if things didn't go on his way.
Usualy, Director Baek smooth things and let's her son to do what he wants. This time, his mother wasn't even there to cover up his entire actions.
"That plan didn't work! Taeha this, Taeha that! I need to destroy his relationship with that wo-"
You clear your throat. Taehee stares at you, realising that you heard what he just said. That means that whille Haeni was spared from the entire circus, you could report Taehee's actions to his father and that will result his removal from succession line.
"Taehee... waht you did...?"
"What I did!? I sent tha photo to make her believe that he cheats on her-"
You slap Taehee on his face. You never felt such anger and disgust at the same time. You were actually glad that you didn't end up with Taehee as your husband and you dogged the bullet. Taehee stares at you, as if you dared to slap his precious face.
"When the Chairman sented you to go on that buisness trip, then you supposed to go! Since you didn't thanks to your mother's early help, you won't have chances to become the next chairman!"
Taehee pauses, looking like an animal locked into the cage before storming away. You use the tactic of disinheritance, so Taehee knew what you could do next: reporting to chairman Beom and he will actually lossing the chance.
Although you support Taeha to become the next chairman, but his relationship Na Haesoo scares you for her life. Not because what will happen to her, but the fear that she might be blacklisted by your husband. And Taehee's action might just gived him the perfect excuse to force Taeha to marry a woman, but it's clear that it won't be Yoonseo.
Then the nausa takes all over you and imediatly rush to the bathroom.
You don't want to believe it. You didn't even want to think of this scenario in the first place. The idea of you being pregnant is pure nightmare... or a logistical nightmare.
Once you reached to the bathroom, you open the lid, knelled on the floor and immediately vomited on the toilet. You weren't usually sick like this and when this happened it was because of the food. So, you want to believe it was from the food, but your fear of pregnancy didn't excluded the possibility of this to happen.
Once it stoped, you get up and flush the toilet and close the lid. Then you walk out and go back to the living room. Strange events happened in just one day.
Then, called your mother.
"Mom... can you go to buy the pregnancy test? Just to cheek."
At the end of the line, your mother's kind yet ghostly voice answred to your request. "Of course, darling. You consumated the marriage, didn't you?"
"...Yes." You hated that line.
...
No... no no no no no-
You stared at the pregnancy test in horror.
Two pink lines.
You feel trapped into a situation you clearly didn't asked for it. Your what should had been best years were stollen from you: the marriage and now a pregnancy.
How can you explain to Chairman Beom that you carry his child?
You didn't want to be a mother. You can't see yourself as a mother and you knew what will wait for that innocent child: ignored by the father and a mother who didn't know that do to with them.
You secretly consider to even try to abort the child, but there was a different question: how to explain to him about this or doing this without letting him knowing that had you done.
He might see from video cameras what you could possiblity do next. You didn't want a child to live with an indiferent father, a mother who will fail them and half-siblings who will resent them.
And you're scared. Maybe if you keep staying scared, maybe you could misscarry the child to spear them from that harsh life. Little did you knew, the society will always judge women no matter what.
If you abort it, they will call you a monster.
If you misscarried, they pity for a fetues.
But you also know that the double standards on the parents.
If the father doesn't want a child, they say he isn't ready.
If the mother doesn't want a child, they say she's selfish.
Your fears came natural from the hypocritical world where women will never been seen as their own individuals. The world wants them to see as free labor incubators.
Your thoughts were interupted the moment you heard the calm foot steps. You knew that it was Taejoo's, so you hid the pregnancy test under the pillow. You made your mind on the hardest choise of your life:
To try to get abortion in secrecy.
The bodyguard opens the door and Taejoo enters inside, scaning the area until he sees you. He walks to your side while you try to mentain the neutral expression that won't be suspicious. Only a fool will dare to hide things from Taejoo himself.
"You don't act like usual, wife."
"Just tired."
He looks at you, his eyebrow rise. You knew that the last attempt at the freedom is over.
"Tired... then why you're so stiff."
'You had to come with with an excuse. You have to-'
"[Name], answer me."
"I-I told you that I'm tired."
Big mistake and you knew too well what you were doing.
Taejoo stares at you before walks away to cheek on his phone something. The moment you catch a glance on the screen, you froze imediatly.
The CCT footage of you holding the pregnancy test.
Any attempt to escape ot to get a bit of freedom was gone. Now, it will be replaced with a life full of responsabilities of a mother all alone. A part of you felt that there was another tragedy before you: Taeha's mother.
She was the other woman, but she suffered all because of Taejoo and left to deal with Ms. Baek and Taehee. Now, it was your situation. Although you weren't the other woman, but might share her tragedy because of him.
But also Ms. Baek's tragedy as well.
You have a thing in common with these two women: rising a child while Taejoo is absent.
"You thought you could lie in front of me."
"I-I-I'm sorry."
You lost yourself. That confidant woman was replaced with a version that you didn't even recognise anymore. Hell, from your voice you knew that this wasn't yourself anymore. It's like someone wears your skin instead of you.
"Since you're pregnant. I expect you to raise it properly. I don't care if it's a boy or girl. It really doesn't matter."
You knew that indiference will appear. He didn't even care about the child's gender.
If it's a boy, it will have change to become the potencial heir like his half-brothers.
If it's a girl, it will be a life controled and will be married off to another chaebol family on one day.
To most people, they would rather have a son. To you, it was a nightmare. To Taejoo, it didn't matter.
His indiference didn't hurt you, but the way he said to make sure you carry his child was the problem. Now, you're stuck in this marriage, with a man that it's twice then your age, with stepsons what could been your friends/brothers.
This will never be over. Instead, it will be worse for that innocent being that will be born into that world.
"Stop overthinking. You will carry and raise them. I failed her and now I will be for this prince or princess."
Who her in ques-
Then you realised something: Taejoo was refering to Taeha's mother. And unfortunately for you, he sees her in you. To make things worse: he doesn't respect your individuality and that book incident was just the perfect excuse for him to take advantage to impregnant you to carry his child.
You try to not cry in front of him. He intentionally ruined your life by baby trapping you. You never felt a huge disgust in your entire life until now and that moment it became your worst day.
Taejoo's touch was disturbing. He wipped off your tears with a mocking care, forcing to remember that you are his wife and mother of his third child.
You aren't that stupid and he knows that. He took advantage of you in the most private way possible and that was just an oportunity for him.
"Now, let's prepare the nursury room for the baby."
For the first part:

These ugly men don't deserve Rei Yamazaki. They aren't worthy for her:
Rei is a beautiful and gorgeous woman and these men (and her father) disrespected her because she said the truth (and because she's a woman.) She doesn't deserve to be around with those misogynistic men and she deserves better:
