I got to wondering and wanted to ask a huge fan of Samuel Seo... do you think Samuel would be stingy with a potential partner? Or would he be the type who thinks the man should be the one to provide?

I actually don't think Samuel would be stingy at all.

I mean...Samuel grew up wanting things he couldn't have. Status, recognition, luxury, the feeling of being "best". Money, to him, is a symbol of power.

So in a relationship, I think spending on his partner becomes another way of saying, "I can buy the whole world for you."

Though I do see him as someone who believes the man has to provide😭

Sammy has this deeply rooted patriarchal mindset but if he loves you enough its more like, "I want to spoil you because I can." There's a huge difference.

Would he let you pay sometimes? Yes. I don't think his ego would implode over splitting a bill. But I do think he'd reach for the check first, buy you something you stared at for two seconds too long, or randomly send expensive gifts. Babygirl just wants you fawning over him, hehe.

The only thing he'd probably be stingy with is... emotional vulnerability. 💀

Money? Easy.

After taking a 3ish year break from lookism and slowly catching up, I have 3 things to say (as of chapter 410).

1. Eli Jang my boy. He deserves the absolute best and to live happily ever after with his family, but dam does he look good beat down and miserable.

2. I get the Eli/Samuel thing now, holy shit I get it.

3. No fucking way Samuels big groundbreaking discovery is to block with his boobs. I coulda told him to do that years ago, I mean they gotta have great shock absorption just based off of the size of em. /j

Another character interaction I'd absolutely love to see is Samuel and Kitae.

I honestly feel like Samuel is the kind of brother Kitae was looking for in Jake. We know there was a brief moment where Kitae actually seemed to like Jake,he was surprisingly sweet in his own way.

But the real clash comes from their ambitions. Samuel wants to become the King, while Kitae is a Kingslayer. Well damn.

And if Kitae ever found out about Samuel's delusions regarding Gapryong, I wonder what would happen 🤣

Sammy is being soft

Samuel is not a touchy man in the romantic way. Sure, he can have his hand on your thigh or on your hip when he is relaxed. But it not really about love for him. He just likes to show that he can do it. That you are his. Sammy always try to prove something to someone.

So it always your initiative to by touchy. Samuel doesn't mind it. If anything, it's good for his ego. Being desired, loved and appreciated, I mean.

But in those rare moments when he's the one who initiated it, it's really important not to scare him away.

"Tired?"

You voice was calm, when you felt how bed shift behind you while you were focused on the laptop. Samuel didn't say anything, eyes are slowly wandered over your silhouette.

"Mhm," he hummed, placing his big palm in your waist. Even through the fabric of your nightclothes, he could feel the warmth of your body.

Samuel shifted closer until his arm wrapped fully around you. Face pressed on the back of your neck, as he quietly breathed in. Your scent had become so familiar.

His bed smelled like you all the time now.

Kind of pathetic. At least, that's what he told himself.

"A long day?" you asked quietly, pushing the laptop to the side. Not so important right now.

He hummed again, hands are slowly moving along your side. There was nothing suggestive about it. Just... feeling you.

Samuel never let people get too close. And yet somehow, you'd become an inseparable part of his life. It was stupid, really irrational for him to think about you all the time. He had plans. Big ones. Now he wanted you to be the past of his future as well.

Pathetic.

"I will give you everything..." Samuel murmured quietly, as his palms run around your body once more. His lips pressed on the side of your neck. Small and almost tender, nothing like him at all, "...but you gonna stay by my side no matter what."

He paused.

"Right?"

You tilted your head to look at Samuel's face. What had gotten into him? His face was still buried against your shoulder, almost as though he felt too vulnerable to let you look at him.

"As long as you will love me forever."

You smiled.

"Right?"

You teased him a little bit, trying to make the atmosphere lighter. Even though your heart tightened at the way he was clinging to you. So unlike him.

You wouldn't comment it.

"Right," Samuel's voice was low. He made a deep inhale, nuzzling his nose in your neck, as his hands gently tightened around your waist. "You right. I will."

He wants to be king. Does it makes you his queen?
