THE SKETCH IS FINALLY DONE... for page 1, for the most part -(Θ︹Θ)ს I had completely avoided drawing the other anti-ajin taskforce members out of weak will... BUT to make up for it I included a little doodle of our boi Nagai.

Who was too cowardly to look at you in the eyes that poor the songs of the rotting and decayed-

The ravens whistling a sirens songs as the dined.

How I envy the corpse you lay upon,

For you to touch and rip me apart in the delicate way you did to that sinner

AND SO WHEN THEY ASK ME WHY I DREW A KNIFE UPON MY OWN MOTHER I WILL TELL THEM OF YOUR BEAUTY

HOW I WILL SIN TO BE PUNISHED BY YOU

To only see you

For, my love, i have walked this earth for too many a years and my soul can only last so long in this thundering rain

That slams into the church windows

I wish, only to be judged. If not be God, then by you.

though your piercing gaze set for centuries on me now

tolled my weak head, i lived in its bliss

the weight got me spinning, dazed, i could not recognise

a single visage but yours

i was nothing but a distant star, shining amongst millions

your eyes condemned me to know what a heart beat felt like

founding purpose in the light which you could bask in,

become pure, in the night glow

and although the adoration, yet to cease you're still the only one i

greet, when the days end, and when i miss the sun

you, a heaven, of clouds and deep seas of your soul, make me lose myself, falling

into your arms

(＠´ー`)ﾉﾞOne of my favourite pieces i've done for our morally conflicted boi Kei!

Even after the series finished, i released that this scene stuck with me a lot- u get to see how malicious Kei can be. Since the story of Ajin split between Authors from Tsuina Miura (Vol 1) to Gamon Sakurai (Vol 2-17), i get the impression that it's possible the personality idea of Nagai could have been toned down or atleast altered. I used to think that Nagai's interactions with the other characters in Vol 2 and ESPECIALLY 3 was because he would put up a fake appearance amongst adults since the way he behaved in vol 1 to vol 3 felt really different-

BUT ITS JUST A FEELING I COULD JUST BE OVERTHINKING (￣ ￣|||)
