With London doomed, the French Army moves forward towards the overrun city of Paris. Napoleon made numerous efforts in attempting to liberate the French Capital from the withering grasp of the undead.
During the Liberation of Paris, something unusual happened within the band of Cuirassiers who were clearing the streets full of Undead. One of them, who had fair skin and dark hair, met up with a Soldier of the 1st Line Infantry and took him on horseback. The Soldier had heterochromia and was fourteen years of age while the Cuirassier was in his mid twenties. What the 1st Regiment of Cuirassiers don't know is that there is a Woman amongst their ranks, and that the Soldier she took with was her Nephew.
She and her Nephew took part in the attack at the Place de la Concorde where the Guillotine once stood. Napoleon assembled three Cuirassier Regiments and one Carabiner Regiment to lead the attack, and he called this Batallion, the Flying Guillotines.
After the attack on the Place de la Concorde, the two revealed themselves to the Cuirassiers. The fair-skinned Cuirassier is Jeanette Marie Beaufoy, while the fourteen-year-old soldier is Marcel Beaufoy, Jeanette's Nephew. Both of which are related.
Jeanette had an older sister named Juliette Beaufoy, who became a Vivandiére. Juliette wanted her younger sister to join her, but Jeanette refused and ended up disguising herself as a Man to join the French Cuirassiers. Jeanette had a deep voice and stood at five-foot-eight, but her fair skin and the lack of a beard made the disguise a bit revealing, but her dominantly male colleagues didn't mind as some of them are clean-shaven. Jeanette joined the Cuirassiers under the name Jean Marie Beaufoy... How very creative of her... what a lazyass.
Some Things to take note of:
The main inspiration for this drawing is an image from the Guts & Blackpowder Discord Server of a Roblox Studio Render of a Woman Cuirassier receiving a Helmet from her male colleague. I find it adorable, and immediately thought of The Lord of the Rings when I saw the image again.
Speaking of The Lord of the Rings, the main concept of the image is similar to the scene where Éowyn and Merry sneak into the ranks of the Rohirrim disguised as Cavalrymen and participate in the Battle of Pelinnor Fields.
Perhaps another Inspiration of the artwork was the game page artwork that can be seen in Roblox.

@milestheporktaco hi I saw your reblog and I’m noob 1 seconds old to using tumblr so not sure how to respond beyond a straight up Post. Hi guys. Brief talk about my GNB OC, the one who was DEAD in my last art post. His name is Alexei and he is a Russian serf that was conscripted back in 1811 and consequently roped into the whole Zombie War Situation Europe has going on shortly after that!!1 I’ve added screenshots of his lore so it’s not huge word bomb here.
The other character is my friend’s OC, Alwin, an Austrian soldier turned vampire after the unfortunate events of Transylvania 👀 he suppresses that part of himself like heellllll though. He and Alexei end up becoming very close friends (initially after Alexei finds out Alwin is a vampire and gets bribed with food to stay quiet about it) to the point of a brotherly bond, they would die for one another. Alexei changes himself as a person for Alwin and tries to appreciate life more and be less of a cold, cruel individual. (He succeeds albeit at the cost of becoming mildly pathetic bless him). The drawing I posted earlier is NOT canon to their lore and is rather a what-if scenario of if Alwin finally snapped and gave into to instinct while Alexei happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. If I remember I will be posting another drawing of them both tomorrow which more of less IS canon (bar the chosen background location) so. 🌹yeah thanks for coming to my TED talk
