A small smile crooned at thin lips. “Tifa—it’s been quite sometime since I last saw you.”
"Things got a little hectic, how've you been?""

An encounter she had most looked forward too was now made reality. Time had been lost since she had last seen the male, crimson eyes falling at the thought. It had been her own fault for burying herself away, something she would understand if the male's forgiveness was lost. Words wanted to be found to find a way to apologize, but nothing would make up for it.
Changes had taken place about the male, maybe he had grown an inch or two more? Maybe his face had even matured a little? Heart sinking at the time lost, only a name was uttered from coral lips, a warm smile being offer towards the male.
"--Neku."
"Roxas!"
-
“I’m glad. I missed you, you know.”
"It's been pretty lonely around here as well."
“Still. I shoulda been here!”
Quick movements made to hold the male in a tight embrace, hoping to provide a source of comfort to him.
"Nothing happened, we were all okay! I was more worried about you silly."
“Well, yeah. But still.”
"We all have duties that come first, and you had a whole kingdom counting on you. I can't expect you to stick around here always, it's selfish."
“No, no. I should be.”
"You're back and that's all that maters."
“I’m sorry.”
"--don't be! I've missed you!"
discipleofduncan:
"Sabin!"
“You okay?”
"Of course, just enjoying a break for now! The bars been packed all day."
"--Whatta day."
On that note, I support OC characters.

The bar grew quiet, hours past closing time. The woman inside had began the nightly routine. of shutting things down. Dishes taken care of, and tables now being wiped down, everything was almost ready for the day ahead. The sound of a bell should have brought alarm, but only words were offered towards the figure that entered the door frame.
"We're closed for the night, sorry!"
Once rag was rung clean, strides were taken to turn and face the stranger. Eyes began to over analyze the muscular build, one Tifa found all too familiar. Voice began to choke, unable to muster a sound towards the male. She found herself wanting to believe in the truth that he was here and real this time, but doubt began to rise in her chest once again. How often she had watched him come and go through the door seemed endless, though the last she found herself believing him never returning.
Mixed emotions began to bundle inside, rage for leaving without a word, yet happiness at the thought of the pairs reunion. Way made from behind the counter, hands planted firmly on her lips. Expression was formed of a scolding one, but it quickly broke as soon as words began to slip past.
"You're home!"

Strides taken to the worn church had been slow, a day of relaxation had been spent rushing around market place to stock up on supplies once again. Though most supplies were shipped in, things here and there could be found tucked away on Merchant's carts, offering a better price than an outside supplier. Just enough gil was made to earn a stable living and keep the bar running, nothing more than the barmaiden could ask for.
A trip taken to check on flowers, and maybe catch sign of familiar face. Though second option was doubtful, hopes were held high. Doors were pushed open, a figure clad in black revealed. Strangers in Edge were rare, even more so in the ruins of Midgar. Stance was taken with arms clasped behind a back, offering no harm to the male that stood among petals and falling wooden beams. A soft call was made out to him, greeting offered to the male.
"You look a little lost."
A light-hearted apporach was taken to the male, hoping he was friend not foe. Apporach was slow and cautious, stopping at the end of pews. A name was offered, with a slight tilt of head as well.
"I'm Tifa--I'll be the first to welcome you to Edge then!"
