Ilene Woods (May 5th, 1929-July 1st, 2010) aged twenty, made up as Cinderella and performing A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes for publicity for the upcoming release in 1950 on the Perry Como Show. Later on in her life, Woods developed Alzheimer’s and was put into a home for extensive care. She did not recognize a lot of what was going on around her and even forgot about playing Cinderella, but the nurses found that she was most comforted by hearing A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes, so they played it for her as often as possible.
