my film from the hometown show <3 truly such an incredible experience… one of the best of my life.

I bought one of the last remaining floor tickets way back in November. it was dead center in front of b stage, totally obstructing the view of the main stage. at the time I assumed it wasn’t that good of a seat (I think others thought the same since it was one of the last seats left).

I was VERY wrong. none of us could have known what was in store and I just feel so lucky.

I’ll never forget that night, ever.

I was sat next to a cool teen who hadn’t seen them live yet. I asked them what songs they wanted to hear and I immediately said Death wish when they asked me mine. they played damn near every song we wanted and we really, truly froke out.

I’m reminded of 10 year old me, in 2003, who would never be able to afford to see mcr live. not until my late twenties, with money made from my mcr fan merch. what a gift. I know my seat neighbor had the best time and I was so happy to share that moment with them.
