Well that is a curious turn of events....

Of course… of course he was lucky that Bulma was away for the time being. She would have dismantled the gravity piece by piece and then leave it in said conditions for as long as she possibly could. Now he had to sit there and wait for Kakarot’s… brilliant idea.

He wasn’t sure how much time he stood there waiting…

Hours, it seemed. He just wanted to get this done, as quickly as possible– with no more collateral involved. 

He was really starting to lose his patience– time was running out, and he was positive that nothing would be done on time if they were just sitting around and doing nothing to fix the problem at hand. He was about ready to lose it! That is until he heard this brilliant plan of his… which didn’t sound as bad as he had assumed it would be.

❝Fine– we’ll go with that plan. It’s the most sense you’ve made all day.❞

Flinching a little and bracing for Vegeta to yell at him once more and call him an idiot, he slowly unclenched his jaw and blinked his eyes open when the explosion of rage didn't come. Vegeta actually agreed with him and he even relaxed his body as it has instinctually scrunched up.

“What Really?” He murmured softly to himself in amazement, but he quickly laughed it off and moved to rub the back of his head with a hand. “I mean Of course! Heheheehehe!!!!!”

His grin and laughter didn't last long though as suddenly two ‘WOAH’s’ were heard next to the massive blast hole. Looking over at were the sound came from, it revealed that Goten and Trunks were looking down into the pit with amazement in their eyes. Little did Goku or Vegeta know, but they had over heard everything that they had said.

That was made evident by Trunks looking over at his Father and getting a mischievous grin on his face as he hmmm’d softly, but loud enough for both adult Saiyans to hear. 

“I dunno if that will work, you might make local head lines in the news if all of west city see’s you carrying a hunk of rock into town.” The boy got a bit of a smug look on his face and shook his head. “That’ll just make mom find out faster too. You might want to reconsider the Pool option dad.”

❝This isn’t a negotiation!❞ Hands balled into fists and veins were beginning to surface. With no clue as to when he would ever calm down, considering the consequences that were to follow for their little… indiscretion.

❝You will help me fix this immediately,❞ he insisted. ❝–and that wasn’t a suggestion, that was an order.❞

Of course he was going to try and rectify his mistake. Bulma was luckily out of town on a business trip so that would save them a ripe scolding by the blunette. “Well? How are we going to do that? It all just kinda...” Holding his hands up in fists, he opened his fingers suddenly and made a ‘poofing’ sound.

Thinking for a moment afterward though, he really got his gears turning in his mind and silently floated in the air for a while.... perhaps a little too long, but before Vegeta could properly break the silence, Goku finally had a brilliant idea.

“What if..... We cut the top of a mountain off that fits the size of the hole and carried it back here?”

Nodding his head, he looked rather pleased with this idea.

There was a notable sized crater on the lawn; one that could easily fit a house or two. True, he knew better than to go all out in a spar like this, but now a part of their domain was destroyed and he was glaring pointedly at Kakarot. 

❝DID YOU SERIOUSLY HAVE TO USE YOUR KAMEHAMEHA?! KAKAROT?!❞

“Holy cow!! I guess I really have to watch myself. Sorry Vegeta I didn’t think it was going to be THAT strong!” He floated over the air and gritted his teeth as he blinked at the damage done to the ground below. He thought that Vegeta would just counter it like he always does, but He guessed that he caught the prince by surprise with that one..... that and he was getting really into it. He knew that Bulma wasn’t going to be happy but.....

“U-Uh well, At least you can put a swimming pool in now!” Always look on the bright side?

The stern expression faltered, making way for one of astonishment. To hear the same brother who easily decided to fight him to the death years ago so casually explain how easily he could figure out a way to bring him back to life with another set of dragon balls was… 

Sneering in disbelief, the emotional walls remained unbroken by this new information. “Alright, so the possibility is there, but what makes you think you’ll want to wish me back to life again if I died? We barely spend time with one another. So what’s changed between us?”

Just because Kakarrot could do it…doesn’t mean he will. He’s just…saying this. But what would Kakarrot have to gain from pretending that he’d go to Namek to revive him again if need be? Kakarrot is an honest dope. That’s a safe bet. Always openly showing his emotions on his damn face like a fool. So he was probably being sincere right now. 

Raditz didn’t want to believe so easily that his brother would be that….nice. 

“Well? I’m tryin’ to spend time with you now aren’t I?” He innocently asked. “I don’t really know what you like to do, and you won’t really train with me either no matter how many times I ask if you wanna.” Goku huffed lightly and frowned as he moved to place his arms behind his head, looking thoughtful.  “Only thing I can think of is goin’ to a place to eat together, you do like food right?” He blinked as he cocked an eye brow to look at him curiously/knowingly, because if he was a saiyan of any merit, OF COURSE HE WOULD.

Raditz quietly studied his brother as he protested against the logical, and practical reasons he was brought back to life being the only motive for doing so.

Kakarrot…wanted to forgive him? 

Wanted to be brothers? 

How can such a thing be possible? 

What did that bald buffoon tell him??

“In all these years is it still that easy to persuade you to do something stupid, Kakarrot?” Raditz’s criticism held a note of genuine curiosity too, making this more than a rhetorical question. In this moment he wasn’t ready to accept his brother’s intention to form a bond with him before a possible end of the world conflict with androids.

But it was a start. 

Raditz had just been wished back and of course Goku knew that he wouldn't trust him right off the bat. Hell, he didn't even trust Raditz fully, but the effort was being made to anyways. Upon hearing Raditz’s retort though, Goku just shook his head.

“It’s only stupid if you make a reason for it to be stupid Raditz. I trust that you won’t cause trouble. Being alive again is better then where you just came from, and you’re quiet the opportunist from what I remember....” His little brother had learned a lot over the years since Raditz came for a surprise visit all those years ago. He still had a good heart, but he wasn’t as naive as he once was.  After fighting Frieza he knew that, try as hard as he might, not everyone could be saved from wickedness and evil, but his brother could possibly be cracked into doing good.... more then he originally thought through Nappa’s persuasion. He wasn’t fully evil as much as Goku wanted to believe. It was just the circumstances of his life. Being given no other options other then to be the way he was. No room for compassion to grow within him. Vegeta and Nappa both the same. Though Nappa seemed a little more keen on being his version of ‘nice,’ then Vegeta was willing to put forth..... for now.

“I won’t lie, I don’t fully trust you either yet, but I’m willing to give you a chance again, just like I’m giving Nappa and Vegeta a chance. I know now where you came from and what kind of life you had. I don’t know if you even want to give up a life of making others miserable or not... but I guess i’ll just have to wait and see now won’t I?” He wasn’t usually one for words, and it was hard to bite back the disdain he held for his brother in this moment just like it was hard to choke back the blood at the back of his mouth as Raditz crushed his ribs under his boot. But he hid just how unpleasant this was for him by trying to be more rational then emotional, reminding himself that the other saiyan wasn’t even given much of a chance to do something for himself. Always serving under another, a dictator, an oppressor.

Finally feeling up to writing, Gunna work on some replies on here and hopefully jump over to my other blogs to take care of all my replies from my 6 month hiatus haha.

What Makes You Terrifying and Dangerous?

Your Kindness

Your kindness is terrifying! You're so kind and innocent that you could get away with anything... No one would suspect you, and even if you were caught, you wouldn't get that bad of a punishment. To add onto that, who doesn't feel like they owe the people who are kind to them continually? Almost anything you ask for, people will feel more or less obligated to give in. Now, chances are you aren't using your kindness as a way of manipulation... But, this is what makes you terrifying and dangerous! No one knows what you're really capable of, and won't suspect you... If so inclined, you could get away with a lot. Not to mention that the kindest people are the best actors, aren't they? Hardly ever letting on that they're anything less than happy, that they get annoyed, all that?

Now that was unexpected! But then again that was her husband’s way, he always did something that she would never expect from him. It’s what kept her heart always aflutter when thinking about him. “Oh, Goku! What’s gotten into ya? Of course I’d love that! You haven’t been this romantic in a long while!”

Romance was never his strongest suit, but it was the little gestures and his attentiveness to her and their family that made up for it. Sure they weren’t like most married couples that would go out on weekly dates, but after his seven year death she would take any quality time with her beloved Goku.

“Oh, let’s take Kinto’un like we used to,” She added as she got more and more swept up in her nostalgic daydreams. “I’m sure it’s been itchin’ for a ride from ya. This is soundin’ more an’ more like a dream. Pinch me!”

If the next thing coming from his mouth was “…and let’s renew our vows too!” she didn’t know if she would faint from joy.

Goku couldn’t help but smile as he knew that would make his wife light up. He always liked it when he could make her happy just as much as he liked it when she scorned him with her wrath. She was way too stinkin’ cute either way! 

“Alright!” He pinches her gently on the arm to tease her before he turns back towards their bedroom. “Sounds like we have ourselves a plan for the evening! We should get ready right away, don’t want it to miss out on the sunset while we’re eating!” With that goofy chuckle he makes, he steps into their room and starts to take off his Gi before he walks over to the closet.

“Now les’se here, where did I put that old thing?” He was having a hard time locating his suit. He hoped he didn't accidentally ruin it and not have it anymore. That would defiantly put a dampener on the mood he was trying to set up for ChiChi.

Though Raditz continued being stern, he appreciated seeing his brother take on a more serious attitude when deciding to respond. 

“I don’t want to die or stay dead, but the probability of me not being able to reach the level of strength I’ll need to survive the ordeal is high. I’ve heard that the dragon balls can only bring a person back to life once. Which means if I die again the same wish can’t be made twice. Whether you want me around or not. Or am I mistaken?”

“Well, yeah... OUR Dragon Balls have that limit. Turns out their a lesser version from the originals so they are more limited in what they can do. But...” Goku took a pause and grinned at his Brother.

“The Namekian Dragon Balls have no such limits! I could go to New Namek and wish you back as many times as needed! Especially now that I know Instant transmission, I could make the trip in a snap!”
