hey just a reminder that The Dodo (the publication not the actual extinct bird) is at least partially owned by PETA, consistently shares “cute” animal videos of genuine animal/human endangerment (”this couple adopted a puma and treat it like a big housecat”, etc), and is extremely anti-zoo, even in the context of conservation. so like. maybe stop sharing stuff from them. there’s plenty of other places to get cute animal content.

DIY Reptile Enclosure

To do this properly, you’ll need: Wood cutting tools (An angle cutter with measurements) A drill A staple gun Razor blade Sliding door locks Door handles  Small door hinges Lexel clear sealant Wood (Size varies based on the size cage you are making. Big 8 foot cages need 2x4s, smaller ones can use smaller sizes) Vinyl plastic wrap, the thicker stuff from joannes or other fabrics shops. For this, be sure to check that the height of your cage is not bigger than the width of the vinyl! You can use paint, wood stain, or just keep the wood natural color if you like.
