I cannot express how much it irritates me whenever people hate Elliott for the boat scene. I understand disliking or hating him for being arrogant sometimes, boring or bland, even tho in my opinion he isn't, but the boat scene literally happens when you already give him a bouquet and you're DATING. Yes it is your first kiss but why date him if you don't want him to kiss you 💔

Also the fact that he takes you out on the sea is definitely not meant to be an implication that he doesn't want you to get away.

I think it's cute because he also mentions the sea and he's feelings about it beforehand

If you choose the option that you're uncomfortable when he asks why you're trembling he literally apologizes and takes you back. WHY WOULD YOU THINK THAT HE TOOK YOU THERE TO FORCE SOMETHING ON YOU when he actually stops if you're uncomfortable 🥹

Aside from that the animated yt video "the implication" was funny
