He’s just going to sit and watch people walk by, hoping that MAYBE one of them might notice him. And if he’s noticed then perhaps either AFFECTION or FOOD will come his way. 

                It took the redhead a couple of seconds to notice him but once she did, Tomo crouched down right away, one of her fingers already going up to softly scratch his head. “What a cutieee ♥”

He was noticed !!. Watching as the maiden crouched down near him as soon as she noticed him, hand extended he merely scooted a little closer. The feeling of one of her fingers going to scratch his head earned a small meow to come from him. Affection !! he could live with this, and after the meow he moved closer to give a SMALL nuzzle against her hand -- as if asking politely for MORE or confirming her words that he was indeed a cutie.

A cat?. Thrown by surprise towards the other’s words he’s really not sure WHY Ranmaru of all people would WANT a cat -- he seemed like a dog person to him !! Though the very idea of Camus’s dog and dogs in general left a shiver going down his spine in fear -- no thank you !!.   ❝ eh ? me ? but why do you want a cat ?  ❞ He finds himself questioning as really -- he wants to know the others reasons before he decides if he SHOULD help or not. Not that he’s AGAINST them getting a cat, in fact he’d even help TAKE CARE of it !!
