Athena, based on 2000-year-old bronze bust of a Yemeni princess whose name was written in the Sabaic language on her neck "Nadeen dhe Sadqen Shams". I thought the writings looked like a cool chocker necklace.
I also redesigned her a bit to look more like her father.
A simple sort of pose study of Tal to keep my skills from rusting over
A poster for my comic Pravus! I've wanted to do a piece with both of the boys for a while. I've drawn them lots in independent pieces, but not so much something like this.
Been a fan since the Ryan North run. Marvel Rivals did good by her.

I missed Alador so here he is
Hermes clenched his teeth. He lowered the cattle prod, and it turned back to a staff. âPercy Jackson,â he said, âbecause you have taken on the curse of Achilles, I must spare you.â (The Last Olympian)
Anyone else think its interesting that the Curse of Achilles effectively puts Percy on level with the gods in terms of power and durability (or perhaps even more so) when considering every book before the last olympian, the gods voted on whether or not they should kill percy (and other children of the big three) because the power they hold and are capable of is far too great for the gods liking???Â
What if, they offered to make Percy a god not just as a reward for his heroic acts but as an attempt to once more gain control of him now that he has the curse of achilles â he would never be able to rebel because he would be, in essence, apart of them.Â
If you canât beat them, join them â or in this case, since we can no longer have the capacity to destroy him, he must become one of us.
And you know how Hera chose Percy to be sent to New Rome and of course it makes perfect sense because naturally youâre going to choose one of the most powerful demigods you have at your disposal, especially the one that quite literally saved all of Olympus three months prior.
But isnât it almost just too perfect that in doing this she effectively forced Percy to be stripped of the curse that gave him power that could very well rival theirs and all Iâm saying is Hera knew exactly what she was doingÂ

I can't believe the character that's responsible Pravus's comic turns 14 years old today. (ironically? Fun fact-- not even Pravus himself. This other character came first. I never expected Pravus to turn out to be the main character of ANything. And when I created the character, it would be years until I even considered making comics at all, let alone about them) They've made one (1) singular appearance so far in the story, haha
Tag People You Want To Know Better!
@milkywayes thank you for the tag!
Reading: I unfortunately don't have a lot of time these days to sit down and read so I listen to audiobooks when I can. I just discovered one of my favorite series Warm Bodies (by Isaac Marion) has audio books of some of its sequels that have sat on my shelf for ages and boy is it bringing back a lot of feels after so many years. I've been trying to consume more media lately to look at my own writing more critically, but I've found I'm really picky with romances. So this is a real treat to dive back into this world with these characters.
Last series: For the first time in maybe almost ever, I finished a live action show! Plur1bus
Last song: This Is a Call · Les Friction (Writing vibes haha)
Last movie: I honestly can't remember đ It's been a few months. Gonna see Iron Lung when it comes out in about a week and Project Hail Mary (the book that kicked Warm Bodies out of its #1 spot) in March for sure, tho!
Sweet or salty: Definitely salty/savory. I don't eat many sweets, and when I do, a small bite is enough. It's the fried foods that get me like hot wings or cheese sticks đ Growing up instead of a chocolate bar at the checkout aisle, I'd ask for pepperoni slices lool
Coffee or tea: Coffee, but usually decaf. I'm kinda sensitive to caffeine, especially if its too late in the day for it.
Working on: Illustrations for the different alien races in my comic, kind of like a codex of sorts ^^ Ignore their hand this is a really early sketch lool
Knitting: Fabric crafts of any kind are outside my wheelhouse unfortunately, but I envy anyone that has the patience for it along with how you keep your count haha
Writing: Chipping away at the second draft of my script for Pravus. I have the whole thing outlined and probably a bit more than 1/3rd, maybe a half? fully written out, I just wanna make sure what I'm writing later on isn't gonna make any subtle changes in the stuff coming up when it comes to drawing it. But I think I'm getting close to being confident enough to start doing pages again!

I like to think Kid Cosmic and Wander Over Yonder happen in the same universe :)
I watched Wander Over Yonder for the first time recently and it got me good, super fun cartoon that I highly recommend đ
