honestly i think a lot of what caused my interest in hc/life series to drop so quickly was because the villies ran me dry. like no joke i was fighting in the trenches day and night dissecting and analysing clips. not to toot my own horn but the moment that antagonising narrative popped up i thought “i have to post about this repeatedly like a town crier or it’s going to be DL again” and thank god people figured it out on their own this time. i got blasted with the full strength of toxic gempearl and never recovered
