Cattrin's Silly Doodles of the Day What are SDotD? Daily doodles, which I use a maximum of 30 minutes to draw, about random, often suggested, events and characters in the Steam Powered Giraffe universe. I'm not a professional and I've never taken any sort of art class in my life. I just like to doodle these silly things for you to enjoy. So please do. c:

Number seventy-two. Ships log, Stardate 46380.5. Encountered the Man Pot Lamborghini Orange Slice for the fourth time while on routine maintenance. Its species and purpose remain unknown.

October 19th

Number seventy-one: Keytaurus. The Keytaurus is an aquatic dinosaur, residing in the Key of C Sea. It's a docile animal, but is also carnivorous, favouring to snack most on Notefish that populate the sea (more specifically the Sixteenth Notefish). I just had to continue the SPG Dinosaur theme when I heard of Rabbit's new instrument's name. [SPG Dino 1- Quesdadillasaur]

Offtopic: Fan respond!

1. what would you not like to see SPG be apart of or create?

I hate to say it, but a big-screen movie or video game. I just don't think the general populous is ready for SPG. They either wouldn't expect or understand it enough to give it a chance.

2. list an adversity or fear you’ve overcome.

When I was entering my teens I was diagnosed with scoliosis and had to wear a Milwaukee back brace for several years. [You can see the brace and read more about it in my post here], but I got to experience and then overcome an anxiety of people judging me and my physical appearance before it even occurred to me that they did. Having scoliosis has also made me accept my appearance for what it was, and not get caught up in the 'thin-speracy' of girls at that age.

3. what is your special survival skill?

Uhm...hm. I can pick things up with my feet. That's super useful if you lose an arm or two. You could say...*puts on sunglasses*-

it's quite a feat.

Number sixty-eight. Another SPG Dino species!

Some species are more advanced than others. For example, this Tagosaurus equipped himself with a spear and leather armor, while our friend [the Quesadillasaur] hasn't yet evolved to keep its cheese in check.

South Adventurica: A largely unexplored tangle of constantly transforming jungles, swamps, and plains unbound by any mappable record of time. Adventurers have sought to unlock the continent's mysteries for years, and its surprises still continue to surprise avid surprise seekers. Dinosaurs, giant insects, carnivorous plants, elementals, Forgotten Gods, Bobby Darin, and Santa Claus are all said to live here, but the only proof of their existence are the ravaged journals from explorers of the past...

[From the Lore Map] Number sixty-seven: SPG Dinosaurs. Somewhere in the South Adventurican jungles lies the Queso Plains, a vast, cheesy wonder of Mexican Foodimals and Foodliage. Here we see a juvenile Quesadillasaur upon discovery of an explorer's journal who had once followed its herd.

August 21st

The warden threw a party in the county jail. The prison band was there and they began to wail. The band was jumpin and the joint began to swing. You should've heard those knocked out jailbirds sing. Lets rock, everybody, lets rock. Everybody in the whole cell block Was dancin to the jailhouse rock.

Number sixty-six, Steam Powered Giraffe in the 1950s. Jailhouse rock! I never noticed they used cardboard instruments in the video.

The Spine as Elvis? He's got the hair for it.
