I spend so much time carefully picking and adjusting the colors in every single drawing I make that I’d probably lose my mind if I didn’t just repeatedly push this out of my memory and pretend it’s not a thing. Why am I reblogging a blank empty post that doesn’t say anything??? Weird

good news! you can’t make sure that everyone will see the correct colors on their own device, but you can make sure your monitor is as accurate as possible for printing and sharing by calibrating it! 

there are a bunch of free monitor tests, but here’s an easy one you can use. the passmark and eizo tests are also pretty good, though passmark doesn’t work in your browser. be warned that some tests may cause eye strain.

you can either use the settings built into your monitor itself or use the display color calibration settings in your operating system to adjust the settings until everything looks correct, and then enjoy your accurate colors.

some warmup sketches from my intro to sequential arts class! we start off every class with a 10 minute warm up sketch and its really helping me get back into the swing of things :)

some recent art i did in Procreate!! Princess Tutu is one of my absolute favorite animes, if not my top favorite. this was the first "proper" anime i ever watched, and it holds a very special place in my heart. i recently bought myself the complete series on bluray off of amazon which is what got me drawing this lovely ballerina. this was pretty much the first time i think ive ever drawn her but it will not be the last!!!

hi im also super into clown movie and have created a Dragon's Lair sort of reddie au. eddie doesnt get to play the game until he's about 17 years old, and once he starts playing it, he has dreams about being Dirk the Daring. when he finally gets to Princess Daphne, he realizes that it isn't her, but richie. he is very confused as to why richie is the love interest.

also i purposely wrote Dargon's Lair bc the clown movie server im in with friends created a channel for this au and misspelled it as dargons lair. i think its really funny so now its there.
