[generic intro post title]
this is the official tumblr account of patches (dr. annie voráčová, she/her) resident hacker and goblin pilot for the independent mercenary company Controlled Burn.
some questions out of the way- my doctorate is in xenobotany, i grew up under seccomm, and i spent about 16 subjective years on a far field team doing advance scouting (long story, it was an elaborate draft dodge that i found out was not really. actually. a draft dodge). shit went bad, lost an arm, ended up having to be reintegrated and found i don't do particularly well in civillian society anymore. ended up picking up engineering and piloting, wound up with CB.
anyway. as reference, CB mostly works with Union Navy, spent a good while doing work on Cressidium for them. not there anymore, and i'm not sure if we're taking contract work from them much in the future either.
also. i am known somewhat well in HORUS circles for my work on nhp stability projects. long story on that one (please ask this time) but in short- i'm operating with a higher than average number of nhp colleagues (5) most of the time, and they have partial access to this blog. osiris (it/its) and laska (she/they) are usually the chattiest, and please ping me if osiris says something fucked so i can delete it. others who have access are avel, greer, and baby, although i don't expect them to respond to anything
if you're looking for my nhp assemblage stability model work, either check my encrypted threads on the HORUS forums or message me at [email protected]. if you're looking to hire us, i think either marshal or heirophant handles that these days but i might be able to pass on the message. if you want to talk to osiris, explicitly address your message to anyone but them.
