This week was a little different for me, long hikes are not really my thing (I don’t really like long walks) but decided to spend a couple of days in the Bibbulmun Track and it was an interesting experience. During day one I started with a pretty good pace (I actually thought that if I hit to the campsite early I might be able to walk to the next one) but I was too preoccupied with looking at the road that I missed the markers... 4 times and got lost for a long time which ended up in me thinking I was going to die in the middle of the woods but after I what it seemed like forever I finally got to the cabin, and I met a really great 64 year old man that was doing the whole trail. On day two we decided to walk together to the next cabin since none of us was really in a hurry to get to town we could do one cabin per day and make it on time. That was actually a pretty good idea because we talked a lot while we were walking and made the hike much more fun, until we got to the base of mt. Wells where we had to walk through pretty steep terrain to get to the top and the campsite. When we got there it was all foggy and started to rain a little bit so that didn't get out hopes high for the next day. Day 3 we woke up super early and started walking as soon as we finished breakfast because we were afraid that it was going to rain, thankfully it didn't. But it was really windy and cold ❄️ this time the hike was longer but easier since there were no climbs, we walked through an incredible forest and didn't miss any markers (that made me really happy) and we got to camp a little bit after midday and lit a fire because it was getting really cold. That night Olly came by for dinner which was the most amazing thing ever!!! But it was also the worst night because it was crazy cold and I woke up a lot of times. The last day I didn't really want to wake up because I had the worst night ever but I had to start walking if I wanted to get to town. At the end it was a really cold, tiring but beautiful walk along the railway. I still don't understand how is it that I enjoy this kind of type 2 fun stuff, but when you remember all that happened, maybe it wasn't that bad, it was awesome https://www.instagram.com/p/Bz0VU1Xgm2p/?igshid=1izb4wno2aeby
