Well, that’s all from us here! This Big Brother has officially closed its doors, but don’t panic. We’re not restarting or disappearing for good. We’re just moving to a brand new home with brand new rules and brand new adventures. Please unfollow this main and follow us here. We’ve had such a good run on this main. It’s brought us so much happiness, but sometimes change is needed to keep a good thing going. Here we go! I can finally introduce you to our brand new home @cbbhqs. Contestants won’t be arriving for another few hours (wait for our post), however please feel free to start checking it out and get familiar with all the new pages/changes. We really, really hope you like everything we’ve come up with, but please don’t hesitate to send us a message if there’s anything you think needs to be amended before we go completely live. It will either be later tonight or first thing tomorrow. We’re just in the process of checking over all the pages, getting things the best we can. There will be a post about it soon.

Is the main getting any kind of re-vamp as well or is it mostly going to stay the same?

Yes! Good question. Contestants have been asked to get their things packed and prepare for the move. However, none of them know about the upcoming change in rules. Those babies will be a surprise upon arrival (which should be soon). Thanks for bearing with us while we get this together.

Our revamp is 24 hours away! Are you planning to come with us? Then please remember to submit this form to us here. With the revamp will parents be able to see their kids?

Parents will be able to leave the house to visit their kids, but they will be followed by cameras at all times and they must return to the house by midnight. They’re also not allowed to bring their kids back to the house. We’ve included all of this in our new rules, so you can read all about it when we move!

I also wanna take this moment to apologise to all our wonderful new members who have just joined us. I promise we’ve taken into consideration this upcoming revamp might sound a confusing to people who have arrived smack bang in the middle of it, but stick with us and I promise you won’t be disappointed. It’s nothing more than a move to a fresh new main, a fresh new house and fresh new adventures.

Here it is! The big announcement. Firstly, we’d like to say a huge, huge thank you to everyone for getting involved in helping us with our revamp. Your opinion is important to us. Every single suggestion was taken into consideration and we’ve tried to implement as many as possible to ensure this move is something we all enjoy, not just something we did as Admins. We can now confirm that Big Brother will be moving. The contestants are heading to Hollywood, California. They will still live under one roof in a brand new house and they will still be assigned roommates. The door will be open for them to leave for work commitments, dinner commitments, or even just to explore, but the cameras will follow. There will also be a strict curfew and new rules.

Due to their newfound freedom, the house will come with far less luxuries. There will be no more bars. No more pantry. No more cinema. Instead, all contestants will be given a daily budget they must survive on and every two weeks, two lucky contestants will be picked at random to get a separate house budget. It will be up to these two contestants to use this additional budget to buy supplies for the house. This includes groceries, alcohol, toilet paper. Everything. However, they will also have the choice to use this budget for their own agenda without punishment (apart from the angry mob of housemates that might beat down on them!). Guests will not be permitted to visit the house or stay overnight, however, contestants will be able to meet with them outside of curfew times.

Last, but not least, we’ll also be bringing back nominations! Don’t panic. No one is getting evicted. Instead, these nominations will ask all celebrities to vote two contestants every three weeks to suffer house arrest for 72 hours. We’ve been working very hard on our brand new main and are hoping to make this move permanent by the weekend. You won’t be expected to re-apply, but there will be a brief form to coming soon complete just to let us know which characters are following us over and what information needs to be copied. In the meantime, please feel free to continue as normal. Like we said, this is a move, not a reboot, so all plots, connections, characters will stay the same (though we will be offering the option of restarts should anybody feel the need to). I wanted to suggest a small time jump.

I’m not one hundred percent sure a time jump would fit into this kinda group! Being based in the here and now allows people to respond to their character’s latest real life news as and when it happens. It also allows us to host themed events around Christmas, Halloween, etc. which could become harder to do if we switched the timeline up. I’m open to hear some more thoughts on this though? I can’t promise we will, but we’d never not take something into consideration. Pop them through in a message or into our suggestions box which is still open.
