"2020, please be good to me!"
I am sure that most of us wished the same thing, or been writing this phrase all over again in our planners and journals.
You are so busy planning and listing all the things you want to achieve this year. You are so enthusiastic that everything will be perfect. You made a pact to yourself that this will be the best year.
However, this year is not something that you expected. Instead of the year full of hope and optimism, it was the exact opposite of what you wish for.
2020 gave us the experiences that we will never forget; the first six months of the year unfolded many events that we never expected.
There's the pandemic that shocked the countries around the world; Β because of this, the world changes in full 360 degrees, that sometimes it is too much to digest. It seems that there's no end to it.
Most importantly, the plans you have in your mind, your dream that you want to come true, the career you want to pursue, or the degree you want to finish suddenly were put into a halt.
And now, you do not have any freaking idea what you will do next. You do not have any plans for the following days. Each passing day is becoming a burden.
Breathe, and remember it's okay.Β
It is okay if you don't know what to plan next. Β We are in the middle of big uncertainty, and we are all trying to survive the current situation.Β
But keep the faith. Better days will come. Soon you will be able to continue all the things that were halted because of these unexpected events.
Hold on tight, and before you know it, all of these will become a distant memory. Better days will definitely come.
