âoh, i donât know much about music.â cheshire replied, slender fingers brushing a few stray strands of pink hair behind their ear. that wasnât particularly true, they played the ocarina and could read music well enough if they tried but that wasnât anything this fellow needed to know. âit simply sounded nice.â shoulders lifting in a shrug, they hummed. âmusic makes people feel things. itâs a gift and should be treated as such, donât you think? one should show appreciation towards those who give it.â
âWell sounds to me like you know more about music thank you think that you do,â Thomas pointed out by their description of it, âAfter all, you just explained the entire point of why we love it, and thatâs what matters the most when it comes to music. Everything else is simply secondary.â
âis that all there really is to it, do you think?â cheshire asked, head tilting to one side with curiosity. âthereâs all the technicalities as well, arenât there? the sharps and the flats and what have you? arenât those important, as well?â cheshire hummed, thinking a moment before they answered themself. âi suppose none of the logical stuff is truly important when it comes to the enjoyment of it all, however. perhaps thatâs why music is so wonderful, you donât need to understand it to enjoy it.â
