Just one time I want her to not be available to the fever. She has been so selfless with her time, energy, influence and they’ve taken full advantage. Used her when convenient, discarded her when not. The fact that they continued to barely post her when fans were complaining about her being excluded from pictures and clips, until the playoffs came around and they needed to sell tickets again. Then suddenly she was all over their page and the first one shown in their videos asking fans to attend.
They take for granted that she’s always there and always available. To keep fans coming to games, to bring media attention to the team and her teammates, to be supportive and boost their ‘family’ marketing narrative…
I just need her to not be there one of these games so that her absence can be felt. And even if it isn’t (it most likely would be), as a reminder that her time and energy are of value and not to be taken for granted. I hate hate hate how careless they’ve been with her image. From the optics of the coaches’ handling of her, to the constant overexposure or under promotion as it suits them. She’s given her everything this year and it’s unfortunately been to a greedy self-serving organization.
i was really hoping she would've skipped last Friday's game but ugh i get it. it's that balancing act i feel like she's tryna do. sometimes it's easy to forget she's only 23 years old, so young and all this is brand new to her and idk if she has the best mentors guiding her in that* aspect. she's so giving and it's like damn girl what are you getting in return here
