Also for my last three playthroughs I've been disrespecting the final boss in the dumbest ways... and as it has become a trend, that's my team that's fighting him this time... I beat Chronomon on Mega+ with a team NOT made for it...

I have been working on actually designing characters I've had in my head for YEARS, the designs are for a story about Digimon set in a world taking inspection for some of my favorite bits of the series over the years.

Major parts are based on Digimon World 2 (guard factions based on the three main attributes) and Season 4 (spirit evolution)... and everything was going great unto I hated how the Tamer/Partner sheets looked so I started over with my character in it... and this is what's taking so long...

I have two versions of them, but I'm only using the newer one... and while some of the things haven't changed, a lot has... mostly two of the partners... while one is just an addition to the team; the other, due to plot, has gained an X Antibody form where one currently doesn't exist at all. The older version at the time also didn't have one, but does now (Lucemon X look like EoH DIO), and I had a version in my head I never drew.

Now I've been stuck for days trying to design Vulcanusmon X... have you ever stopped and looked at what it (the X Antibody) does to Digimon? Animal/creatures look more mythical(with the exception of Agumon and Guilmon), feminine ones because far more sexualized(say for Rosemon... she looked more presentable the last time I looked... which was years ago) and the Royal Knight look like a bunch of mechs... the Olympus XII only have one and she looks like her hair was possessed by the Heartless...

At least I have a design I'm happy with now... hope to be finished soon...

While training my new playthrough team for the weirdest final boss encounter I'll ever have, I took some time to draw...

I'm gonna add this, her hairstyle made me mentally scream.

Also the dialog in the other picture was based on something that played out in a mental rp I had while half asleep so... yeah.

Chuumon: [talking about what happened the previous day being the cause of the spontaneous digivolution] I'm not surprised after what happened yesterday.

Simmons: (chuckles) The stickers are still there.

Vulcanusmon: [in the back thinking] '...that sticker is in a slightly annoying spot... it's in the corner of his vision...'

Wanted to take some photos of my screenshots, so I can have them on me if I feel like drawing him while away from my ps5... some are normal.

Some are close-ups of different parts that I couldn't find screenshots of. Like how the mechanical parts 'connect' to his body or the things on the back....

Then there was a set of the pictures where I was looking at things on his belt and he went into his normal animation and took a pic of the pattern inside the encapsulated part... umm... boys... wtf was that? Why did it take me looking through my photos to see that. This is the exact order of the screenshots...

I love that the last photo was them both looking at me like nothing happened. Also noticed the wing is clipping into him in that last picture, this is why we don't ruff-house boys. XD

Wanted to draw something to de-stress after a move. He is so precious, I love him... and he is one of the only characters in recent memory that has a part in a story that makes me actively feel real world dread.

I need new markers... my light grey and flesh tone markers are dead.

I like drawing pictures of myself/self-insert interacting with characters/creatures I'm interested in. Which is how this picture started and evolved into a first to most recent with the digimon franchise.

Almost all of my favorites are technically from my time with the games, Wormmon being the only major exception... Kunemon was my first favorite digimon and most used rookie in the original Digimon World. Vulcanusmon is the newest. On the human character side we have the protagonist of the original Digimon World, love that we got to see him again as an adult in Next Order living up to how I pictured he'd be, and Kyoko from Cyber Sleuth, while we really only got the actual her in the very last cutscene of the game, Alphamon trying to be her was one of the best parts of the game... also I would try that coffee... I want to know how bad it really was.

Also my taste in favorites when it comes to the digimon themselves is all over the place; other mons include Coelamon, Kiwimon, Phoenixmon(who surprised me by having abs), and Giromon when it came to random ones, the rest are mostly humanoid ones... simply put: if child/teenage me thought they were cool the stuck around.

Mechanic stuff isn't what I normally draw... but if I like something I'll draw it anyway. All my drawings are what resources are available and vibes...

Then there's ours, we're like under a foot shorter if we don't count the mechanical parts.

Couldn't sleep... like at all. So I drew my CRK polycule; there are some cookies in CROB that I've been tempted to add, but not exactly there yet...

Was waiting for this to release, thinking it'd be a pain to get... second five pull...... this is going on the home screen for the rest of the month, then Bamboo Blade Cookie is being put back because that spot is for my Ovenbreak crushes.

Honestly they knew what they were doing with that design.

This is the last of my romantic f/os, the rest are platonic/situationships.

Burning Spice is more of a negative emotion release, and has been more helpful as of a recent event... the child is a little gremlin, which he's encouraged, within reason. As destructive as he is he doesn't want them to get hurt. Any cloth item they are given is full of rips and patched holes.(which would mean those clothes are new... lol)

I didn't think much when I first saw him(and I still cringe when I hear Knight Commander because of my time in Dragon Age), but just like Fire Spirit, he grew on me. I also like the thought of him being a Trans man(the version of him in the Mythic Guardian au is such).
