‘Spokesperson’ was created by the bike-mad creative agency Harriman Steel, in order to inspire people to use more pedal power and less petrol power. 

“We all cycle at HarrimanSteel. For us it’s about fitness, exploration, freedom and self-expression. It’s not just about getting from A to B. A bike is not only a mode of transportation, but an extension of one’s personality (in the same way a dog looks like its owner). ‘Spokespeople’ is a tongue in cheek expression of this thought and the  simple idea that two wheels are better than four. Better for you. Better for the environment. Better for all.”

WHY?

Even a quick, four-mile round trip by bike instead of car keeps about 15 pounds of pollutants out of the air – as well as burning lots of calories.

HOW?

There are loads of useful bike route planners out there, including this one for London.
