Gather ‘round, everybody. I am here to tell you about baby Tseng.

So. Me and one of my friends do this thing sometimes where we meet up and put a bunch of characters on a spin-the-wheel and then draw them. One of the regulars is Tseng, because I quite like him (my friend has Vash there every time).

The first time they drew Tseng, he looked like this:

He has a giraffe neck, sure, but look at him! There’s the fella! Next were these two.

I was so fond of the second that I cut it out and stuck it on card stock. But you can see he is getting scrunglier. It became a sort of tradition to scrungle him.

And then tonight. Tonight this was created:

Now. You may be wondering, why baby? Well, this connects to Honkai Star Rail, where there is this meme. Baby Sunday.

He is horrifying, I know. The Tseng above inspired a similar feeling to the baby Sunday, and then this came next:

And we joked about his antennae. Which leads me to our grand finale, something that we both drew our own versions of.

Last song: Never Ordinary by Three Days Grace, from their last album. They're one of my absolute fave band and I get very emotional listening to this album because the first singer came back to the band and I feel like at least part of their musical choice is an homage to their beginnings.

Currently watching: Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries with my friend @welgansheer. Otherwise I'm currently more listening than watching to the Magnus Archives and I'm always happy to watch anything Gab Smolders puts out (very excited for her new playthrough of Fatal Frame 3)

Current obsession: Where Winds Meet. I may or may not be at 223h of play time. I love wuxia, I love exploring the world, I love how it makes me laugh and cry, sometimes simultaneously, I love how it makes me learn things! So many things!

Also because I am a being of many layers, I am currently always thinking about D.Gray-Man in one way or another. And the Magnus Archives, as previously mentioned. You know what maybe they should meet, compare notes on their trauma.

Currently reading: I recently finished rereading Little Mushroom by Shisi and I'm a little stuck on Our Wives Under the Sea by Julia Armfield (very very good horror, uh just a little too sad for me at the moment). Also caught up to D.Gray-man. Sadly. Gimme more. GIVE ME THE DEETS. HOSHINO I AM BEGGING YOU.

Not sure what my next full read will be 'cause The Depression. Tentatively interested by Dinghai Fusheng Records by Fei Tian Ye Xiang for a novel and Windbreaker by Nii Satoru for a manga.

Currently working on: A small essay on contemporary Japanese queer culture and their representation in media for my Contemporary Japanese Culture class. The word "currently" is doing a lot of heavy lifting given how slowly it's going.

Last google search: if we don't count the searches I did to add links to the song and to Gab Smolders' youtube profile, then I think my last search was how to write uh your last wishes and how to give your corpse to science.
