I really need to set aside more time for tea. I love tea, but my regular caffinated drink is zero calorie cola because I can get 4 2 liter bottles for $5 at the store and it's quick to open up and drink. But man, I just got this new vanilla infused black tea and two sips later I'm already having a much better day than I was before.

There’s a quality that certain books/movies/TV shows have that leads me to say, “Yeah, I can see people making fanfiction of that.” It’s something to do, I think, with how tight the story is, how much feels open-ended or like it could be elaborated on.

Something like Breaking Bad, for example, has low squiggability (that’s what I’m calling this quality). It’s tightly written, the characters are consistent, there’s little left to interpolate or extrapolate. Obviously, people DO write fanfic of Breaking Bad, but it still has a low squiggability score. Whereas something like Supernatural has a high squiggability score. Fantasy and science fiction often have high squiggability scores. This suggests squiggability could also be related to worldbuilding and potential for people to borrow a premise or setting.

And sometimes you’ll read or watch something and you’ll say, “Ah, low squiggability,” and then you’ll open tumblr and find out that everyone else seem to think its squiggability was very high indeed.

Then there will be shows that you'll be like the squiggability is off the charts on this one imma go look at what everyones cooking' and find crickets. Its like the dichotomomy of squiggability you know.

I did it... I watched all of AoT Season 4 in a single day... what a heartbreakingly beautiful ending... When I first watched this show 13 years ago, I never would have predicted in a million years how it would end... and I now need to somehow settle my brain down and sleep so I can be up early.

I'm finally finishing the last season of Attack on Titan.......... I've made it through a lot of character deaths in AoT without feeling even a fraction of the pain I just felt. I was sobbing. I had to pause the episode just to weep and scream into my pillow for about 2 minutes straight. I can't believe they'd do that to me...

Spoilers for AoT season 4...

THEY FUCKING KILLED MY GIRL SASHA IN FRONT OF MY EYES ON A TUESDAY MORNING. SHE WAS MY FAVORITE CHARACTER AND SHE DESERVED NONE OF THAT. SHE MADE IT SO FAR INTO THE SHOW AND FOR YEARS I LIVED IN BLISSFUL IGNORANCE THINKING SHE SURVIVED SEASON 4 TOO!

I mean, I like the others and all, but damn I would have preferred they kill Conny or Jean over Sasha. I wouldn't have been happy about it, but at least my sweet potato girl would have made it.
