When you're deciding on your characters' birthdays and you want them to have been born on a specific day of the week but also on a specific numbered day of the month and you realize the calendars just don't line up that way...

I don't even know whose job it was to teach people this, but did they just stop teaching people what a bicycle bell means?

One would think that hearing a very distinct, clearly audible, reasonably loud and rapidly approaching sound of any kind would make any reasonable mammal turn to look at the direction of the sound, just purely by instinct?? If a deer heard something nearby go DING DING DING DING DING DING at its general direction, it would at least look up to see whether the source of the sound is a threat or not? Just a quick "is that something I need to be concerned about?" type of glance.

The enshittification of pedestrians has reached the point where they have less traffic survival skills than deer.

How exactly does one slow down and weave around pedestrians who are blocking the entire way in a formation in which it would be impossible to pass them even on foot without elbowing one or two?

#yeah I was in a situation like this. I was riding my scooter fairly fast and there was a guy just standing in the lane #and I started dinging the bell like at least 10 times and he didn't turn to look so I started to swerve and THEN HE JUST WALKS INTO MY PATH #without even LOOKING BACK #and I couldn't go any further in either direction because there was a TREE right next to the bike lane #so I slammed on the brakes but couldn't stop and just ended up crashing into the guy and went flying off my scooter #moral of the story: DON'T STAND IN THE BIKE LANE and if you are LOOK AROUND IF YOU HEAR THE DING DING DING

Persona has this issue sometimes of presenting you with a lot of different romance options, but some of them come in really late and by then you've probably already locked in on one particular character. It happened in P5 for me with Futaba and Haru where I had already decided on Makoto by then, but at least there I saw Futaba as more of a little sister type and Haru as just a friend and either way Makoto is best girl and I wouldn't chose anyone over her.

But now P3 is like "here's this social link storyline that is heavily steeped in this girl very clearly falling for you and you can access it basically within the first month" and then it's like "btw, now three, almost four months later, here's a super cool robot girl and yeah she's a romance option. too bad you've already half-committed to the other character by now"

and it's like, I don't WANT to seem like a douche, but you couldn't have mentioned this EARLIER??? Chihiro is nice and all, but I wasn't very strongly leaning towards any characters up to this point and was just kinda going with the flow.

I also looked it up just to have some idea and apparently you can't even romance Aigis until JANUARY, like??!! That's 10 months into the game. Another 6 months past where I currently am. This is exactly my point.

Persona 3 was making me crave good ramen but I can't afford restaurants so I'm making do with the cheapest stuff I could get at the grocery store. Mildly fancier instant ramen.

#I just finished Metaphor Refantazio and it was really good #and it made me want to play P5R again but I told myself I need to finish P3R and P4G first #every time I tried to play P3 before I couldn't get into it as much as P5 and hadn't got past the first month #mostly because the story is pretty slow burning so far but I'll get through it #I just like the characters in P5 more and they do a great job of setting up stakes and motivation much earlier #and the social links are far less interesting so far like... idk I'm just not attached to the one kid trying to date his teacher sue me
