Imma boutta get so sappy on you guys with Homestuck.

It's been 5 years since I started reading homestuck for the first time after being introduced to it by a friend of mine. And 4 years since I finished the journey with the kids and hs ended.

Homestuck has been one of those constant things in my life. I kinda just always liked it from the beginning and I kind of just always continue to like it.

It helped me make a lot of friends in a new school where I didn't know anyone and really put me on my feet to start making more friends and doing things on my own.

I don't really think i totally understood everything I was reading when I read it the first time bc i was still pretty young an naive.

But this year I decided i wanted to do a reread for 4/13. I had originally set out to start a few weeks in advance and watch act 7 today. Unfortunately I am painfully slow at reading and I sti have about 200 pages left before I will finish. Which i was pretty sad about and I'm kind of mad at myself for not letting myself enjoy 4/13 with everyone instead of holing myself up in my room frantically trying to read as many pages i could.

Anyways back to my point. I understand so much more now that I'm rereading it and I'm so emotional over bits i wasn't before. I relate to these kids even more now and the way that they were written sometimes was honestly just SO good and i definitely dont think i appreciated that or even realized before.

It strikes a different chord now and I'm still really greatful for it all. I know this fandom clowns around a lot but I really do love these characters and this story so much. And i just KNOW I'm going to be even more of a wreck when I watch the rapture tomorrow than when I watched it 4 years ago.

It's gonna be bittersweet now that I understand everything so much more. But I'm glad I decided to do this.

Anyways that's it I guess. Idk who actually read this but I hope you had a nice 4/13

Oh hells yes. I don't really write for musicals anymore bc my focus isn't ONLY on musicals and plus I haven't really been in the writing groove for a while. But it's so awesome to hear that someone likes all the stuff I wrote. Given some of it wasnt very good and i had a lot of ambitions stories that never got finished but yk. I reallt love kevin tho and he was my main boi for a while so all in all thank you and im glad u like them :)

Does anyone actually understand the plot of homestuck? Like I read the whole thing and read acts 1-5 at least 3 times but if you ask me to explain the plot in detail I literally can't get into it that deep.
