The agony was too much for Buu. All he could hear was the growling coming from his stomach. Buu sat on the edge of a cliff and stared deeply into the sunrise. “Buu want candy.” He muttered. Buu was too starved and weak to even stand up, so he decided to rest to take his mind off his hunger.

Cynthia had no idea on what fate had in store for her. Currently, she was traveling quite more to get more research before heading to Kalos. As she was on her meticulous way, she noticed the sleeping and pink being on the cliff. With a rather confused expression, she held up her Pokedex she received when she was but a child and tried to scan Buu. It was at that time the Pokedex literally began to overheat, and needed to me turned off instantly. Doing so, the woman dressed in black slowly whispered to herself as she quietly approached it. "Is this a new legendary...? Could it be connected to Arceus? I feel a never-ending wave of power..."

"Who are you?" Bernard asked, crossing his arms over his chest as he stared at the intruder. They definitely weren’t elves and as far as he knew they hadn’t gotten a new Santa.

"Oh! Hello there. My name is Cynthia. a trainer from Sinnoh, as well as an archaeologist," responded the woman dazzled in black. Despite being in such a new place, it was apparent she was used to finding herself in these situations. With a kind and calm demeanor, she politely began to ask questions right off the bat. She was quite curious, that was for sure. "Would you mind telling me where I've found myself in?"

Torterra was struck with Ice Beam, crying out as the chilling energy surged through its veins. It had little stamina left… At this point, the battle was a total mismatch. Torterra would surely faint soon. He had to make a gamble. “…Torterra! Use Wood Hammer!”

The grass/ground type took one last charge, trampling towards Miotic as the tree on its back began to glow, its body turning in such a sharp way to slam it into the serpent! Although the reckless move would cause Torterra recoil and likely knock it out, Wood Hammer was a powerful physical move that wasn’t affected by Leaf Storm, as well as taking advantage of Milotic’s lower defense, compared to its special defense.

The Milotic was smashed by the Wood Hammer, causing a great deal of damage on the poor water-type! However, with its great bulk, it was still able to prove itself as a strong and prominent member on Cynthia's team! Given Wood Hammer's recoil, Cynthia and Milotic were already thinking of ways to abuse this fact! "Recover once more!" The water-serpent soon used Recover once more, healing its wounds and was able to still hold its own. However, that Wood Hammer still did a great deal of damage to it. Milotic was strained to its limits, and it was apparent that Torterra gave it a run for its money., Milotic would need to be switched out, and fast...! "I commend you for your strength, but don't think that'll be enough to beat me."

"I take it you’re not from around here. That’s perfectly okay! I travel here and there. constantly studying on Pokemon Mythology, Anthropology, and Archaeology. I’m from Sinnoh, but where are you from?"

"A part time Archaeologist?… Oh! The Relic Castle and Dragonspiral Tower would be the best places to go for that sort-of stuff. But the pokemon are also very agitated sometimes… so they like to attack people… but once the bell on top of Dragonspiral Tower is rung, they seem to calm right down."

"That sounds amazing. I believe I'll make that a top priority of mine. It'd be an honor to explore and involve myself with many of these things! You know, I think you should come to Sinnoh sometime. We have the Fight Area, which can improve your skills even further. Though, if you're like me... you might get a bit greedy at the Game Corner."

Announcement!

((I'm taking a driver's ed course for the next 9 school days. I won't get home until around 7, so I might not get starters and replies out fast. I'm sorry for that, but at least that means I'll get out on the 11th. Meaning I get rewarded with Pokemon X/Y. Aaaawww yeah.))
