[Noticing one of the zombies, she walks over, a worried look on her face, thinking the man is sick or hurt. When she gets a little closer, the zombie turns, and she starts to back away]
Like it? I’m sure you’d like it more leaving with your fortune told. Interested?
Oh, um. [Thinks for a second] I've never really believed in this sort of, stuff. But I guess there's a first time for everything. [Sits in the chair opposite Mim and smiles]
[settling into the booth that was procured (and decorated extravagantly, she made sure) and quite obviously humoring the Fortune Telling act to its full potential, covered in jewels and an authentic looking costume]
Come, let curiosity drive you to learn your own secrets. Discover what lies ahead for you with my Mimsical ways…
[Is drawn to the fortune telling booth, and marvels at the beautiful decorations]
Wow.
[mumbles so the artist at this booth won’t hear]
No, don’t get these.
[points at a face painting booth a little farther away]
Those are the best.
[Looks around at the man, and smiles, nodding]
Thank you.
[Celia walks through the Town Square, an excited smile plastered on her face. This was her first Halloween, after all. She darts from stall to stall, but the face painting stall catches her eye. She bites her lip as she looks through the designs, wondering if she should get one or not]
[Frowns] You don’t have to swim, you could just paddle. I mean, it’s just as nice.
When I was younger, I tried to swim at the public pool and the lifeguard thought I was drowning.
[She giggles a little, then composes herself] Lots of people don't know how to swim.
[grins] Summer’s terrible. It’s way too hot, and I’m really bad at swimming so I’m stuck inside the whole day.
[Frowns] You don't have to swim, you could just paddle. I mean, it's just as nice.
[ not paying attention to the fact that he’s inadvertently smiling upon thinking of two recent successes; one with work, one with family ]
[Smiles at the fact that he boss is finally looking happy for the first time in a while] You're looking pleased with yourself, Mr Woodford.
[nods, agreeing completely]
Much better than summer, in my opinion.
I hate summer.
[walks by humming a little tune quietly, and hears what she says]
I suppose. But it’s nice, don’t you think?
Oh, most certainly! I do love the cold.
[Pulls her coat tighter around her as she walks through Disney]
I don't remember it ever being this cold.
[ standing to greet his guest, Hades nods once before offering the chair opposite to him. Sitting down he takes the folder from his desk drawer and holds it out for her ]
You’ll have to read up before we can make any arrangements.
[Celia nods at sit, taking the folder from his hand an opening it, reading the contents]
[ calling out to the closed opaque glass door ]
Come in!
[She opens the door and smiles, trying to mask her fear]
Hello, Mr Woodford.
[Celia knocks on Hades' office door, her stomach in one large knot. As she waits patiently, negative thoughts and questions cloud her mind, and she wonders if she is doing the right thing]
*smiles in return* Not a problem, I do recall you helped me with some boxes one evening. What is it that you’re doing? If you don’t mind me asking
[Smiles, remembering the girl] Oh, um it's kind of, private.
Look at that, you’re almost done! Could I help at all?
[Is a little startled, but she smiles anyway] Oh, no thank you. But, thank you for the offer.
