Nate was sitting at the bar nursing his third drink of the night when he heard a familiar voice. Celine. Not the person he wanted to see him in this state. If she still had a cruse on him he was sure seeing him like this was going to rid her of it. But lately drinking was the only thing that made helped him cope. He'd been ignoring calls from his parents and he couldn't help but wonder if maybe the families had been the ones to send Celine looking for him. This hole in the wall was one of the last places he'd ever expect to find her. "What's a girl like you doing in a place like this?" He turned to look at her as she took a seat on the stool next to him. @celine-hynes
Celine laughed as she entered the dingy bar with her bandmates. This definitely wouldn't have been her pick for a bar to hop. But, she knew to be a good sport. She was lucky to have grown up the way she did. The least she could do was try to find the fun in it. She took in the bar's nautical theme before catching a familiar face. Her heart swelled at the sight of Nate. She knew what'd he'd been going through but had never intended to speak with him about it. She knew it was inappropriate given the crush she'd had on him since childhood. It had dissipated as she got older and reality set in. He saw her as a little sister. For no fault of his own, he'd never be able to see Celine that way. Excusing herself from the group, she walked to the bar and smiled softly. "Hey, Nate." She hummed, placing a kind hand on his back. "A girl like me?" She giggled. "What kind of girl is that? I'm here with my band. They said it's a pretty cool place. It looks different from what you and I are used to. But, it seems fun enough. What're you up to tonight? Are you here alone?"
