LAZY SUNDAY
Also, go away, human, I’m sleeping here.
BALCONY CONTAINER GARDEN CROP
Pak Choi, carrots and a bit of basil
HOMEMADE MINT TEA
First try at using my own mint leaves to brew some tea. It was a success!
MY CONTAINER GARDEN
I love my balcony during summer. And I kind of can’t really believe that I’m helping all of those beautiful plants to grow. Also, bonus cat.
SCHLOß MONREPOS
Neil wishes you a good start of the week and wants to remind you that he intends to stay in bed and sleep as much as he can.
MORNING WALK
I wound up waking up quite early this morning and being completely awake at 6AM without any desire of going back to sleep. So I decided to take advantage of this rare event and went for a walk in the fields behind my home. The light was beautiful, the morning air was smelling of wet earth, and everything was quiet except for a few birds chirping away. No idea how I came to wake up so early, but I really didn’t regret it!
Reasons I love Spring: the ground outside the entrance of my building is covered with this beautiful carpet of tiny white flowers, with some blue ones peeking in the middle.
HIDDEN BLOSSOMS
Spring brought me a nice surprise when I caught a glimpse of these chery blossom trees while riding my bike to go to work. Surrounded on three sides by an appartment building on a discreet side street, I could have easily not noticed them. So I went back on the next day to take a few pictures. The very cubic building and the delicate flowers make for a suprisingly well working contrast, each bringing out the beauty of the other, and creating a very peaceful place. I took some time to just sit on the bench, looking up at the tiny blooms, surrounded by the distant sounds of the towns routine. I then rode back home, feeling calm and relaxed, and quite happy to have discovered this place.
ALONG THE TRACKS
Went for a walk that ended with us walking along the tracks of a tiny railroad. So we had to walk on the tracks. You can’t walk along a railroad without walking on the tracks. It has to be an unwritten rule or something.
POSTCARD FROM LUDWIGSBURG
Went for a walk in the Favorite Castle (that’s its name) parc and stumbled upon these adventurous children who weren’t going to be stopped by what was written on a sign when there was a possibility of tree climbing.
