Celine Aguilar was the product of two teens who loved despite their families differences. Her mother, Pilar, was only a junior in high school at the time of her birth. She came from a well-off family who helped her raise her daughter so she could continue with her education. Her father, Andres, came from a working class family.
She spent much of her childhood with her materal grandparents, as her parents's relationship didn't last long after her birth -especially when her father got a full ride scholarship to his dream school.
Like her father, Celine excelled in school. She was always at the top of her class and recognized as a model student. She worked hard to make sure that her parents -her dad especially, was proud of her. But as she got older, she got to see him less and less. Between work and school, it seemed like he didn't have time for her anymore. Every time he said he would show up, he didn't. He'd miss presentations, holidays, even her own birthday. Her heart broke every single time.
When college time came around, she decided that maybe some distance would be best. She was accepted into Harvard's Pre-med program -which worked out great. The woman spent the following years in the East Coast, finishing her education until it was time to apply for residency. As much as she loved the East Coast, she decided it was time to return home and was blessed that Aurora Bay Hospital had a spot for her to train with their surgery team.
Since moving back to Aurora Bay, life has been a bit of a whirlwind. Not only was she able to reconnect with some old friends, but also had to face some of her past one more time. Her relationship with her father was still complicated, but her mother remarried and she had a ton of younger siblings that she absolutely adored.
Despite her difficulties maintaining a good, stable relationship, she also married Blossom after a little over a year of dating. Adjusting to married life has definitely been a ride!
