Idk if I'm right but given that understanding healthy relationships is Maul's blind spot there's a very real possibility that Devon and Rylee bonding over losing their father figures is potentially going to become a massive hindrance to his plans at some point in the future. Rylee isn't just here for the heck of it. There's a purpose to his character not only existing but also seemingly intentionally paralleling the same type of loss Devon is also experiencing. Yeah, it's a motivation for Devon to team up with Maul now, but I feel like eventually her desire to protect her friend and her desire to get back at the Empire are going to clash. Those desires may align currently, but remember, when she defied either Daki or Maul it was explicitly because she chose to protect Rylee instead of obeying the adults. That was her priority in the moment above all else. If one goal at some point gets in the way of the other, which one is she going choose? Maul expects her to automatically choose the goal that aligns with his. But is he right or is that too presumptuous on his part?

What Maul fails to understand is that children - especially teenagers - are not merely extensions of adults. This is because he was never taught any different, which yes is tragic, but he's continuing the cycle Palpatine imposed on him. Neither Devon nor Ezra is an individual person to him - they're reflections of his own self. So he mistakenly assumes they're going to behave exactly like him. Feel the same feelings, make the same decisions. But while they're similar, they're not the same, and we've already seen that individuality win once when Ezra chooses to abandon his temporary brush with the Dark Side.

These kids are not Maul's mini-mes no matter how much he thinks they are, and if the story follows the pattern of "Maul always screws up because he doesn't know how actual relationships work" I could see this happening again when Devon starts acting like literally any teenage girl with a mind of her own and they eventually butt heads. Or, in chronological time, for the first time before he tries it again with Ezra and still fails because Ezra's love for Kanan wins out over his anger. Regardless of exactly how this story ends, it's highly likely it's not going to go the way Maul plans. One does not simply mold a teenager with an already well-established personality into whatever you want them to be. Maul honey I know you're trauma-parenting but I need you to understand that this is not how it works. She's going to turn on you at some point, like every kid does who has a parental figure with an enmeshment problem

It’s so easy to love someone when you know you’re getting equally repaid by them for your efforts. Your effort is logical and your dedication is justified because you are GOING TO GET REWARDED for your actions. Can you still choose to sacrifice your well being immersing yourself into a job that won’t even provide you the bare minimum like your food and shelter, keeping the whole wage aside that’s completely zero. But if you still choose to do it, it’s because you are in 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 with the job and so, you are gonna keep selflessly giving your best with no outcome in return.

That’s how one sided love works to me you see. You give it your all everyday, knowing you’re not gonna get anything in return. You REALIZE that when you’re foolishly spending your days writhing in pain and falling in love with them, you are paving your own way to hell. You perfectly can visualise and FEEL yourself being crushed by the 𝙬𝙚𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨. Not many people can continue bearing unrequited love. So many people give up and that’s totally logical. But the people who don’t aren’t “stupid” or “dumb”. You need to understand they’ve walked into a road with no directions to come back to. They don’t have a single idea what their lives used to be like before that significant person came into their lives. They are stuck between a maze with no memories of life before, entangled between overflowing emotions and cruel reality. You need to plaster this into your head-𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙣𝙤 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙡 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧.

If someone is loving you despite you NOT acknowledging their feelings, please treasure their emotions. The love that they’re feeling for you is the most genuine form of affection you will 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 receive. Its magical, beyond this world’s comprehension. Its okay if you can’t return their feelings. Ming is actually a lot closer and emotionally available to her daughter than most Asian parents around me to their kids

I think Ming is trying to be there for her daughter in ways she felt neglected for by her own mom, who seems even more stern and strict than herself

But she was still raised by her, so she unknowingly adopted some bad parenting habits from her which affected Mei negatively, unfortunately putting the same pressure to be perfect she felt so stifled by from her mom onto her daughter too.

Can we please talk about Elsa getting so worked up over Anna’s safety that she got completely drained?

Now, this might be for added “high stakes” factor but we’ve never seen Elsa’s magic exhaust her before. Not when she was building a castle, not when she froze over the entire fjord, not even while fighting for her life against armed men.

But here :

Elsa looks like she used up every last bit of magic in her. She was that alarmed and freaked out over Anna that she couldn’t take it. Emotionally it must have been that draining/painful to see her baby sister in danger that her knees just gave way.

Factor in a lifetime worth of fear over Anna’s safety and well.. it’s only understandable.

The look of utter horror when she realizes that Anna followed her into fire, that she’s at risk.

The next frame we have Elsa reacting so viciously, so blinded by panic

-that it must have wore her out mentally. Again, we’ve seen Elsa face larger things than this, but the amount of power she must have willed out of her when she saw Anna lying on the ground must have been enormous. And yet the toll is mostly emotional.

The moment Anna rises from the ground is the moment Elsa falls.

“Get her out of here!”

She’s sending her away, as she always has, for fear for her [for Anna’s] life.

Only this was after the nightmare 13 years have ended, only this is after Elsa knew Anna was fine, and that she wouldn’t hurt her. Elsa just didn’t account for all the things out in the world that could hurt Anna. And that petrified her.

Just another theory about Graveyard's video

She created Halsey (which is played by Sidney Sweeney) to feel less lonely. Halsey helped her and Ashley got stuck on her and the idea she represented.

Halsey and Ashley go to the Haunted House (Ashley's fears) of the theme park, which may represent the world of fame. But Halsey doesn't enter with Ashley.

But now she's feeling inside that world she used to look from outside (fishbowls), now she is inside the aquarium. Where all the looks are on her feeling she's drowning (like one of the nightmares and fears she presented the website)

And at the end, it's just Ashley alone, in a world that doesn't seem that colorful (full white theme park), facing the fears that her alter ego made her face.
