Wow…Social Media being important within the workplace is becoming more and more of an understatement.
This is very intimidating... So many great job candidates are getting overlooked because of social media absence.Â
If you're an executive taking the plunge on social media, do it #likeaboss. Here's how.
Sprint Ninjas When I wrote my book, The 2020 Workplace, in 2010, I made a prediction some considered bold: I said that by the year 2020, social media training in the workplace would be as common as ethics and diversity training. Thanks to a turbocharged boom in social over the past two [...]
If you think Social Media does not have a big impact on a lot of businesses and companies, think again. Social Media is a lot more powerful and important than people think – and it is a little scary.
Jeanne Meister, a writer for Forbes, always has a lot to say when it comes to Social Media and HR. It is always great information, just like her article of “2014: The Year Social HR Matters.”
This article has a lot to say in regards to how a company should train its employees in regards to Social Media. There’s a little overview before it goes straight in for the kill of the five ways, and the overview basically goes over how other companies go about training their employees with programs and how there are obvious motivations as to why they do so.

3. Be specific and explicit about what you want
4. Include game mechanics to engage and reward employees
5. Create a vehicle for continuous improvement
I highly agree with Jeannie’s points, and I suggest to read further to understand what exactly she is getting at with her points!
It’s clear by now that digital transformation isn’t simply about implementing new software solutions. It’s about fundamentally re-thinking both what we do, and how we do it. Today’s always-on, digitally connected world has created massive change in the workplace, and for our workforce. Who of us any longer accept going backward [...]
This article puts into perspective how technology is affecting companies, in turn affecting HR significantly. Technology plays a huge role in helping identify top performers and future leaders as well as for motivating and rewarding employees.  They also point at that it is essential to provide the right tools and technologies for employees so they can do their jobs more efficiently.  Although it’s easy to think we have it easy now a days because technology does everything for us but stakes are high for HR because we no longer have traditional approaches. A new landscape requires new rules. When it comes to social media, the consumer is always in control. Millennials have grown up in an age where they have had access to brands at a rate that has never existed before. Today, if a brand is not on social, then does that brand really even exist?
I enjoyed reading in this article, “today, if a brand is not on social media, then does the brand really exist?” This statement couldn’t be more true for our generation. We think if they don’t have an instagram or Facebook group that they must not be popular at all.

The Mobile Imperative For Marketing Ops
If there’s any remaining doubt about how mobile phones have permeated our lives, pay close attention the next time you’re in a public restroom – airport, shopping mall, sports arena – and note the individuals using their phones to text, email or talk. Don’t worry: this conversation isn’t headed for the toilet and it won’t […] http://j.mp/22GTH3z
