Recently I’ve been connecting with nature in hopes of gaining a better mental outlook and more grounded sense of being. I’ve been reading “I Me Mine” in which I’ve been annotating quotes which resonate with me or that I’d like to take into my every day life. A massive chunk of my life I've felt alien and strange. Harrison has helped me look at the bigger picture and practice patience (especially with guitar). My recent escapades have included hand feeding the squirrels in the garden and having a squirrel sit inside the house (on the open window ledge indoors). The world is so so sad and it's awful but in my living room feeding the squirrels brings me some peace. The bird on the window reminds me of the current climate of the world and how we must really stay grounded and remember that peace and love are powerful tools. The tank Lego had been freshly built and placed on the window in order to entice the squirrels to sit on it. Part of my daily routine to get one step closer to swaddling my new pet squirrel "Darlington".
The teachings of George Harrison to me have meant a lot about feeling at peace with this material world and knowing no matter what happens. I was always here before I physically manifested on this earth.
(Also this has been the first time a bird has came into the house like this bar a confused pigeon)
Peace and love ,
